NEVER EAT AT MAZZIO'S

It wasn't good enough that I got one job, my mom threatened to kick me out if I didn't get a second one. In other words, this is why you SHOULD NEVER EAT AT THE MAZZIO'S I WORK AT.

Then today, a cook sliced open his finger when cutting some green peppers and he just went around to show everybody it! I don't have a problem with blood and gore, but don't be coming up to the front registers to show it off! They just wrapped it up but didn't let him go home... How the hell do you expect a cook to cook with out a thumb? I know it's possible, I have a distant cousin that was born with only one arm and she could dress Barbies much more fast than me, but come on. The whole staff there is a joke.

Yes, I'm brand new, but the system in place to take orders is what is really making it hard for customers to get what they want. I can't understand a word customers say over the phone no matter how many times I ask them to repeat themselves, and then they get pissed and think I must be stupid. Then their GUI and software is from the freaking stone age! You have to be a computer programmer to use it basically, and I failed miserably at Java when I was in my local VoTech! So I've messed up countless orders because the interface is a jumbled mess that I can't comprehend.

But the worst part of all was when I closed for the first time. After hours, while I was busting my butt sweeping and mopping the disgusting floor what were the mangers doing? Smoking. And the main manager was even smoking in the office INSIDE THE KITCHEN. If you even want to call that rat hole an office. And his kid was in there too! Like that's fine if you want to harm yourself like that but don't force your kid to inhale that crap too!

It's just so unsanitary everywhere and I wish I could usher out every customer that walks in because they don't know what's really going on in the kitchen. Nothing sanitary, I can tell you that much. I want to quit so bad but I can't.

A rant. About nothing. But I need to vent.

As a person who works in customer service and at a call center for a pizza place, I wanted to tell you, the consumer, how to help someone like me not hate you and/or want to kill you with my lazer eyes.

Know what you want to order before you call. If you call to find out the specials, but need to decide what to order, kindly call back. This will help the call go quickly, which some of us rely on for part of our pay (.10 per call means I want you outta my ear faster than a mockingbird flaps it's wings.) It will also help your order be correct when you receive it. If you call and change your fraxin' mind 20 NathanFillion times, there's a huge chance that the person taking your order confuddled something, and you will receive a macaroni and cheese pizza that will make you want to destroy your own home.

Also....please don't let your kid scream into the receiver. I do a good enough job at destroying my own ear drums.

That is all...for now. I really hate my job.
