Thank you so so much for this sweet message! It gave me a pang of both delight and guilt.

I haven’t given up on MBM III, exactly, but I am taking a little break from working on it. As you are probably aware, the MBM stories are VERY long and I no longer have a life that allows me to write as much as I did when writing MBM and PAB. I worked on it all last year without getting close to feeling like I could start posting it, and that was really discouraging. It made working on it a chore, not a joy. So I’m trying now to write shorter things to get my enjoyment back, in full hope that I can return to MBM III in the future.

Knowing that at least one lovely person would still be interested in it makes me want to go back again soon, so thank you, thank you!

How is MBM 3 coming? No pressure or anything, I know life is busy and I'd wait actual years for anything set in this universe because IT'S SO GOOD, I just was wondering when I can look forward to it. 😁

Okay, well, here’s how MBM III is going: if I’m actually writing it, I am flying on wings of inspiration and it’s gorgeous and wonderful and I love writing, why do I do anything else? Outside of those six hours a week, I’m sending at least my sister and sometimes one or two other people despairing text messages about how I’ll be writing this forever and I’m never going to do my theme justice and have I totally lost the plot?

In short, it’s going v e r y slowly and you may actually have to wait years, I’m so sorry! I had hoped to have something for you all next week but it’s just not cooperating. I so much appreciate this encouragement! It means a lot to know I have such kind and patient readers.
