Yes, you do get to set the MC's height (ranging from very tall to very short). There will be some flavor text variation based on your height.

Quick question about the mc probably a stupid question but when you say that mc has a membrane filter under their eyelid is it like a piece of technology ? Or is the membrane filter something they were born with/clairvoyants in this setting are born with ?

not a stupid question, it's actually a question i was waiting for there will be flashback scenes of how mc's membrane filter came to be but yes, it's something they were born with that developed throughout their life (becoming more prominent to their actual vision) so you can imagine how confusing it was for them to realize they were not normal because no one had the ability or bio-mechanism it's possible there are clairvoyants like them. but for now, they only know themselves as one. at least in the present, they can control how they use it better than from previous years, where it gets stuck

This ask reminded me how much I admire MC's moxie! Our little girl really found a way to convince Gulin, a terrible and incredibly sexist man, give her magic lessons! Good for her!

Yes, magic MCs were pretty one track minded on learning magic, and wouldn't let it go until Gulin agreed to teach her. My favorite part is that rather than arguing she basically just annoyed him into submission.

Hiii!! So I’m playing a male mc and I noticed that MC is often being described as tall. May I ask approximately how tall is the mc, and the relative height for the ros? And is it different for a female mc? Not sure if anyone has asked this before, plz feel free to ignore if it’s been asked:)

Male MC ≈ 6'1" - 6'2"

Female MC ≈ 5'9"

Mark ≈ 6'3"

Rupert ≈ 5'9" - 5'10"

Prudence ≈ 5'6" - 5'7"

But please take these as loose guidelines. If a slightly shorter MC would still work as tall for you, go for it. The same goes for the ROs. What I've provided is just to help imagine the overall height dynamic between the characters.

I want to say that the designs and the plot is amazing, like Orion going crazy was not on my bingo card, but i wondered since Mc still has the purple hair and the yellow eye, is it to show that Orion made their lifespan longer or did they stayed a mortal after Ravi defeated him ? because that would mean Mc would live longer than most people. But in the end I think the moondrop route was amazing even tho i feel kinda sad there was no kiss with Orion, and also didn't expect Delilah to be so mean because I love her design.

Hey! Glad you liked the game! I’ll explain what’s going on with MC under the cut so those who don’t want spoilers can avoid them.

And yeah, Delilah sucks. She has to be for the story to work but my beta tester was so sad that she was because all of their sapphic obsession with her deflated when they realized how bad she was. So don’t worry you weren’t the only one disappointed.

As for the kiss, the simplest answer I can give is I didn’t want to embarrass myself with my pathetic excuse of drawing kisses, you guys deserve way better than whatever nonsense I might make. And honestly I don’t know if I see Orion has a guy who kisses a lot. Snuggles and cuddling, sure, a lot of physical affection in that sense. But actual kissing? Don’t think it’s for him.

Anyway! Back to MC!

So MC is in a weird spot post ritual. Their mind is cleansed of the dark magic but their body isn’t exactly. Basically they’re free of Orion’s mind control but the magic that Orion did to make them live longer is still lingering, since the spell was supposed to be permanent. Of course, the magic causing it got slurped out of the book but Celestial magic really likes to linger, hence why their hair and eye is different.

I wouldn’t say that MC is full on immortal, like nowhere near that. They’re still a normal person with no powers (you can obviously headcanon ur mc to have powers or not, I just gave them no powers for the sake of the story), but they’d probably live an extra 10-20 years beyond the normal lifespan for mortals. And if they take care of their body and make sure it’s healthy and all that they could maybe stretch it to 25 years. And because of how the spell worked they wouldn’t feel a lot of the old people problems that normal old people do, like moving slower and sometimes being unable to take care of themselves for instance.

Turns out that ritual wasn’t half bad after all!

Facts on MCs deceased family members and what was their relationship like with MC ? I’m all about those familial ties 😎

Sure no problem!

Cecilia MC’s Mother was a mage whose abilities focused on altering light to create illusions, so illusionary magic. Cecilia was a cheerful woman she supported her kids no matter what and would let them get away with as much troublemaking as possible for she was a troublemaker herself. MC's relationship with her can vary later in the game for reasons.... however at the start of the game MC will be set to have a good relationship with her.

Amadeus MC’s Father was the past advisor of the late king. He was temporarily an advisor for the current king until he heard suspicions that Amadeus's wife Cecilia was a mage, which then caused him to order the death of MC’s family. Amadeus was a strict parental figure yet he held deep care for his family and ultimately risked everything to try and save them (MC relationship with him can vary depending on what temperament you choose to have as child MC in the flashback scenes, however no matter what present time MC at the start of the game will hold deep respect and care for their father). 

Aurelius MC’s older brother, he was 16 at the time of his death he was studying to be a healer before he died. He was not a mage. He had a very calm demeanor and would oftentimes come off as aloof he and MC had a good relationship and Aurelius is the one who was ultimately able to create the opening for MC to escape from the mage hunters.
