I will say, my favorite headcanon for Guardian of Time is that Aksinya is there by MC's side the entire childhood like "Look. I don't care who you marry but we WILL be sisters. I WILL marry Ilarion, You WILL marry one of my brothers." Ilarion growing up sending Sina letters and being like : "... Are you just with me for my sister" and Sina being like "No, I'm with you because you're handsome. Your sister is just one of the major perks that come with. tHAT BEING SAID-"

Luk and MC marrying and MC ugly crying at Sina like " BUT I DON'T WANT THE MARRIAGE TO COME BETWEEN US ! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY PRIORITY !" while Luk who's been madly in love with MC since childhood is fully dissociating. Ilarion and Luk have a full meltdown after a battle because MC and Sina both send letters just gushing about what the other has done since the last letter. They just start exchanging letters to hear about what the fuck their lover has been up to.

Anon! I love this headcannon so much. I'm glad to see some Sina love. I was worried that readers would find her annoying. (Which is still valid, by the way.) Anyway, I had a lot of thoughs about your headcannon, so be prepared for some rambling below the cut.

And poor Luk being relegated to second place at his own wedding. 😭😭 The leters though is the most entertaining, Luk reading MC's letter for any information about what his betrothed has been up to only to get an info dump about his sister's daily life.

This headcannon is really giving me old Barbie movie vibes, like in the Diamond Castle where the men exist but are completely secondary to the power of best friend love. Or the double wedding at the end of Princess and the Pauper. Like this where the friendship between the two girls is obviously more important than

Now I want a Guardian of Time AU where instead of a political intrigue, high fantasy adventure, it's just a sitcom, Imerpial court edition. Instead of MC join the Dragon Seekers and uncovering a cult, it's just about her and Sina being best friends while in love with the other's brother.

I think she's far more likely to adopt an attidude of trying to be as unproblematic as possible to prevent people from leaving

Between finding out what a leech is and being told Samira supposedly straight up said she's 'tired of sacrificing everything she wants for MC' both at the same time. To MC, it would look like being a burden is exactly why those two left her. So yeah that'd make a lotta sense and now I feel sad thinking about it

Yeah, I try not to be too explicit about it, so people have room to headcannon, but this is generally the way I tend to write MC, so I'm glad it makes sense.

Lol. That's pretty cute. Most everyone would be happy to recieve such items. Igor would be torn between being pleased and concerned about the safety of just passing around magical objects. Luk doesn't appreciate magic much in general, and Sentinel would be mildly amused since he can't use the objects in question.
