so pb has this image as the header on their site and I’m just???? I thought they pasted the in-game faces on covers of TRR1 and BB2 def had an uglier face... why didn’t they use these on book covers? Even Whiam looks good here like wth?? (Open Heart MC looks worse here though)
Here is a small fic featuring my MC Riley and him! Hope you like it!
Solomon laid on the bed next to his girlfriend Riley. She was curled up next to him, her arm draped over him. It was his birthday. For many centuries, it was just another day to him. Nothing special about it, but to remind him of his growing age. This time however, was much different.
Ever since she came into his life, he felt his life was more colorful. Full of fun, whimsy and wonder. Like how it felt when first discovered magic. To him, Riley was almost innocent like. The way she looked at the world. Her cheerful personality, and her infectious smile. Not to mention, she was adorable. But, she was also beautiful to him. Her magic was beautiful. She had fairy blood in her veins along with some of the fairy magic. She was growing more skilled with it all the time. He was proud of her. Purple eyes looking at him got his attention.
“Yes?” He said in a playful tone.
“Happy Birthday Solly…” She inched up a little and kissed his cheek and snuggled into him.
His cheeks heated up at the soft little kiss. “Thank you Riley. It was the best birthday.” He pecked her forehead and took hold of her hand and laced their fingers together. He found his mind drifting back to earlier.
She came to him dressed up in one of her adorable dresses. She was a big fan of the Lolita subculture and anything cute, but this was a special occasion as she told him. She wore a long sleeve knee length dark purple dress. The skirt was decorated with constellations and stars and she wore her hair down this time. Usually, she always had it up, so this was a special treat for him. In her dark brown hair, was a star shaped purple hair clip that sparkled. She was too cute for words and pretty.
Riley took him to a cafe in the fairy realm that had just opened up. The food was delicious, but the real surprise was when she brought out the small cake she had made herself. It was colored like the night sky with the words Happy Birthday Solomon written in silver frosting. After their cake, she took him to different shops, and a big arcade. They had won lots of prizes and Riley ended up winning a big huggable star shaped pillow. She gave it to him and they learned that this was no ordinary pillow.
The prize stall owner told them that when it’s given as a gift to a loved one, if they hug it, it produces the same feeling of being hugged by the giver. Along with a feeling of comfort and calmness. Solomon tested it out and sure enough it felt like Riley was hugging him and he felt more at ease.
After a fun day, now they were in Riley’s room on her bed. Pulling her close, he kissed her forehead and held her.
“Riley, thank you for a wonderful day. I had so much fun. My birthday wish is for us to always be together. I never thought in my long life someone like you would come along, change it and I would fall in love. Deeply. You’re amazing Riley. I love you” his voice soft as he looked at her and kissed her softly.
She kissed back and placed her hand on his cheek. “I love you too Solomon. I want us to be together as well.I love you so much.” With a wave of a hand, the lights in the room went out and soon tiny lights danced around. It was like being in an actual galaxy.
“It’s like our own galaxy” She said as she kissed him again and rested her head on his chest. “Happy Birthday Solly”
“Our own galaxy…” he said to himself as he closed his eyes and enjoyed the last remaining hours of his birthday with the love of his life.
