The foxy traits Vere has (spoilers mentioned):

1. Obviously playful. Very playful, can't sit still. Imagine how painful it truly was for him to be imprisoned and locked in a room when he had less freedoms.

2. All of the li's except for Ais (lol) feed the mc. Foxes feed their mates and bring them food. I'd imagine it would be very disrespectful if your mate rejected the food you so graciously gave them. He literally gets upset if the mc rejects the cookie. Accept the cookie. He thinks the mc is a potential mate.

3. "Don't let him show you his hole" yes this is an innuendo but I like to think this was literal (especially since Baselia already thinks Vere and mc slept together). Foxes dig holes and hide food there. I like to think that Vere has a secret hole he hides stuff in.

4. Possessive. Male foxes mark their territory during mating season. Vere marks the mc to deter competition and will probably know if mc is in danger.

5. @foxyannon's wonderful observation that Vere mangled up the soulless more than necessary as a gift to mc. Male foxes actually do gift their potential mates carcasses (to eat) as a courting tactic.

6. Male foxes are called dogs lol

7. The knot joke in the demo. He's got to have one idgaf

english isn't my first language so when I first read Ais calling us a sparrow I thought it was some cool, sharp bird (like a swallow), BUT HE MEANT THIS

That song really fits the siren-like attitude of Ais at the seaspring.

This is just one the multiple nightmares of Scarlet deciding to go for a drink. It's not like she wants to it's more likely... Somewhere in her mind a voice tells her that she must.

A fate that was result of someone else's will. Gods playing and turning her into a puppet that needs to reveal real Ais' motives and powers. As a lost oracle... Unnamed... She finds herself in a little war that she didn't ask for and as time passes by the thoughts get worse and worse.

Cursed and manipulated, Scarlet tries to do her own choices and live normally. The encounter with these monsters gave her a little hope.

Still she's councious that the price might be high.

I think that Ais in a modern au would be the dude living in a rundown home that is an absolute mess.

He would have a motorcycle that doesn't work outside in his driveway

And he'd be struggling with Schizophrenia. His mellow personality doesn't always present that this is a problem he has and he stays to himself most days even if he seeks community.

Suya in a modern au would be the domestic stray cat rolling around that visits Ais on occasion. Especially when he is in need.

Hence why he called her Sparrow. She was like his Goodluck charm. While he would have loved for her to stay as his pet, she stuck to visits.

And eventually it got to a point that Ais made her a collar with red string and a silver bell so he'd hear her whenever she came to visit him.

The rest of the neighborhood and city calls her Suya because of how mean she is, but Ais knows she's nice (enough)

When Suya visits Ais, she's basically his psychological support. Ais will know he's seeing things or having a psychotic break when Suya is not reacting to what he's seeing there

(For those who do have schizophrenia, please notify me of any inaccuracies. I'm going based on my experience with hallucinations, granted I am not schizophrenic, and research)

Ais and foxy boy lover here but I can imagine a diva- like MC who coordinates a day with foxy boy for shopping. Just MC "sneaking" to the blood springs with Princess's help, practically begging Ais to go shopping with them and he's just like "What am I your money bags?". Of course MC convinces him and all three of them go on a spree, Ais standing behind the two holding a whole bunch of bags as the two walk ahead like literal Divas.
