"Are you drinking, huh? Let me help you"
Bad ending where Scarlet decides to drink from the seaspring and actually, instead of stopping her, Ais gives it to her.
-I think it was good the time we shared, Snake -Ais talked as the redhead tried to process all the fuss from drinking. His voice sounded far away, like an outsider. The sweet tone of the nickname wasn't delivered as such to her ears.
Scarlet closed her eyes, waiting for the feeling to disappear. It never came, her mind was a total disaster. All the time she spent with Ais danced in front of her and was confusing. The pain came, then the sadness. All the possible emotions came at once just to be evaporated again.
The purpose of giving it a try was erase the curse. But at this point she couldn't even tell if that happened. Foreign languages talked, she recognized just a few. Her body wasn't capable of doing anything. In fact, it was a little shake from Ais what allowed it to move.
-There you are. How was it?
The brown eyes weren't there anymore. She opened her eyes but couldn't answer. Both crimson stares stayed like that, just wondering what would come next.
-Told you it won't be nice. I'll keep you safe, no worries -Ais' words were a promise. His hand travel to touch hers, losing a bit the bandages around the fingers to see if it worked. The skin was the same color as always, dark and full of light scars.
He was cautious, but the urge increased as he held her in his arms. For the first time since Scarlet drank, she could move her hand and reach for him. The hearbeat was fast as the damaged flesh slided just a bit until it arrived to its destiny.
Ais looked at her eyes, then a slight shock run through his body. It was a little pain, stinging just a little. Scarlet smiled, letting it go as Ais groaned from the feeling. It twisted his own self-control, tested his own loyalty. He was about to use the skills the seapring provided him with but her voice stopped him.
-You can't, I'm not one to be tamed.
