Ray’s base is located inside a small, really weird pocket between all of the different multiverses. he found it after leaving prison and basically turned it into his own home. i can totally see that he’s slightly insane due to the fact that time can’t be recorded in this pocket, which we know as humans that that freaks us out.
Ray had a very close relationship with a friend of his back in the MCA academy, but (now that i think ab it) it ends up being sort of a carl and grace situation when Ray is inevitably captured and taken to prison for trying to go against what the MCA is actually doing.(shhh you don’t get to know about that yet.)
what else…oh! there’s also this big, dome like room in Ray’s base where it’s basically constantly recorded, and the walls are lined with drawers and shelves of little discs with recording in them. there’s a slot in the very middle of the room, and you can put one of these discs in that slot, which ends up replaying the entire moment that said disc recorded. i think i planned to use this as some form of angst or easy way to reveal some stuff.
ray also has some sorta crazy powers, mostly all time related. he was really strong in the academy and like could’ve definitely been the top of his class, but he was reckless and didn’t care much for being perfect. i think one of them was being able to speed up a person’s body timer(??), basically killing them. i doubt he’d use it a lot, considering he hates the idea of killing anyone.(also relevant for other parts of the story heh…)
AND AND AND QUESTION!!! IS HAMMERSPACE OR LIKE INVENTORY A THING IN THE TECHWORKD IT'D BE SO COOL IF IT WAS
