My new White Beard...
Yesterday, I tasted Joshua's food for the first time. But not how you'd expect. I arrived home around 6pm and went into the kitchen. Joshua was in his musical blue chair looking decidedly bored. Louise mentioned something about food and showed me the pots she'd put together for him. I thought this was great and had a quick conversation.
After a short while, Louise asked me to run Joshua's bath. I picked him up and took him upstairs into the back bedroom. I put him down in the middle of the bed and started the bath in the bathroom.
I went back into the bedroom and started to tickle him. He quite enjoyed it and was laughing a lot and I decided to help him stand (His second favourite thing to do). I lay on my back and steadied him as he stood on my stomach.
Next, I started to bounce him a little (His third favourite thing to do). He loves it when we bounce him up and down while reciting "Bouncy, Bouncy Bouncy" over and again. Thanks honey..
After a couple of mins, I checked on the bath and it was doing good. I then decided he might like to fly a little (His number one favourite thing and brings by far the biggest smile). He had a massive grin in the air looking at me. I did this twice without issue.
On the third lift though, as he rose directly over my head, his mouth open with a truly massive smile, a white blob appeared which grew extremely quickly into the Niagra falls of sick.
This waterfall of sick landed perfectly in position in the centre of my open mouth. Luckily, I'd managed to put my tongue in the way so I didn;t swallow. However, we both ended up covered in sick after I sat up and it overflowed out of my mouth down the both of us.
I held Joshua in position so as to not drop any sick on the floor and asked for Louise's help. When she turned and looked up the stairs, my new white beard with lumpy bits greeted her with a kind of half smile and a look of 'help'..
She came upstairs and took Joshua while I cleaned myself up... Thanks honey for helping.. This will definitely be a memory I will keep with me for a long time to come..
