New reporter in the paddock

“Oh and you have an interview with lissie today.” Landos manager reminds him as he nods. “Always good fun with lissie.” He chuckles a bit and nods.

Lissie was an amazing F1 presenter and content creator. She had great chemistry with all the drivers and just all around good content. You were her assistant never really having to be there for interviews or anything just more of travel and suck. Editing videos for her and so on your face was not knows around the paddock. Lissie however was having an emergency and appointed you to do her interviews.

“Don’t freak out. The lads are really good at answering questions and keeping the flow.” She says from her bed. “I already got all your stuff set up for your lanyard.” She says as you nod taking notes down. “Are you sure? We can always get them the next race you really need someone to watch you.” You stressed looking at her. She looked so pale and just not good. “No we need the content now go.” You nod as you mumble for her to feel better and that you ordered her soup.

You knew your way around the paddock somewhat. The crew was great since you traveled with them constantly so they had calmed your nerves a bit. Soon it was time to do interviews. “You’re not lissie.” Was the first thing all the drivers said to you. You laughed a little explaining to them what happened. They nod as they told her to feel better and on with the interviews. Charles and Carlos were amazing to interview great fun and they gave you suck good content. Max was kind and gave more serious answers but great either way. The younger boys were all good fun like Alex, Logan and so on. “Okay last one.” You camera man smiled.

“Lis- oh hi I’m Lando and you’re really pretty?” Lando fumbles his words as he looks at you. “Are you and thank you?” You questioned with a laugh since it sounded like a question as it came out of him. “Lissie is out sick. I’m her assistant y/n.” You smiled as you stuck out your hand. Lando was bright red as his words that stumbled out. He took your hand and shook it gently.

“Smooth opteratooooorrrrrr.” Carlos shouts with a laugh at his old teammate. You laugh a bit as you hand him a mic. He was so red and it was really cute. You asked him a bunch of questions and he was very cute being shy and answering. “And before you jet off last question.” You start to say with a smile. “Where do you see yourself at the end of this race weekend?” You asked him totally meaning in the championship standings and he knew that. “Well that’s a good question I would probably say taking you out to dinner if you accept.” He smiles at you a wave of confidence. You blushed and smiled a bit. “I guess you’ll have to race your heart out then eh?” You asked him and giggled. “I would like that very much.” You smiled at him after your interview. He smiled as you guys exchanged numbers.

‘Girl I sent you out to get good content not to get a date with Lando?!’ Lissie texts you when she finally looked over the film. ‘Hey you have me the questions.’ You replied with a laugh. ‘You’re welcome 😋’ she replied. Let’s just say your interview popped off and everyone went crazy over how Lando was smitten over you. Let’s say after your interview and a couple months later you were very well known at the paddock as landos girlfriend.
