38. Who likes to star gaze?

Hanzo never really saw the point of stargazing. The stars were just there, a constant by which scientists measured various phenomena. Personally, he thought the idea of a colony on the moon sounded a lot more interesting than pinpoints of light that were too far away to actually do anything with.

Jesse, though. Jesse loves stargazing. It reminds him of when he was very young, and it’s one of the few happy memories he has from before Deadlock: laying out on a tattered old blanket in his mother’s arms, staring up at the night sky, pointing out the shapes in the constellations. You get such a clear view of the stars in the desert, with none of the city lights getting in the way.

Hanzo learns to appreciate stargazing, eventually. Or rather, he appreciates leaning back against Jesse’s chest and resting his head on his shoulder, and the way Jesse tucks his serape around them both, and the way Jesse whispers the names of the stars into his ear, interspersed with gentle kisses.

47. Who has the more complex coffee order?

See, you’d probably expect it to be Hanzo who has the more complex coffee order, but he’s absolutely a tea person, and so when forced to choose coffee instead he just doesn’t really care as long as it’s hot and filled with caffeine.

Jesse, on the other hand, has had quite enough of drinking coffee that tastes like boiled dirt in his life, and so will try out new variations of flavors and syrups every single time, thus making it impossible for Hanzo to order for him because he never gets the same thing twice.
