Morty quickly took notice of Green, it was easy to tell how the seer might have lost himself in his own thoughts. Despite all the years that have passed, he still clearly remembers of the day it all went public. By then had just recently taken over Ecruteak’s gym, and just how everything had stopped just so they could be up to date with the news.

“Pardon me...I am Morty, from the Johto League. You are the one that took over the position, correct?“

She is unnervingly intent upon his expression. Green doesn’t usually play nice with people younger than him, but Lance had called him, told him in no uncertain terms that if he made another person cry in less than four minutes he would be dragged in for review.

Green did not want to go to review. There were a lot of questions Lance could ask and he did not want that.

However, her words make him strongly reconsider the resolve not to make her cry. Who hurt you? Green bites back a scoff, trying to find a way to answer that wouldn’t make her burst into tears. Or maybe she was more resilient than she looked despite the doe eyes he was staring at.

“Is there a way to answer that without coming off as rude?“ He questions rhetorically, hand planting itself upon his hip.

     She gives a small gasp before furrowing her brow. There seems to be a look  coming from her she’s close to giving a pout, maybe she even does. But it’s more because of how he reacted. How rude. 

           “I think you would have been fine if you simply denied my ask.” 

      She gives a sigh before looking away. She rubs her arm and tries to find another way to approach the situation. Course, Kimiko has dealt with stubborn people before -- after all one could look at how far her relationship went with a particular  friend -- but she’s come to find that they are quite tiring. 

All she wants is to help, but will he let her?

           “I do not understand. Why is it that people try to push away those who want to help? Are you afraid?”

wallace: is willing to give hecking mewtwo a second chance in my plot with @mcgatama because they were traumatized.

Green gives a faint sigh, plopping next to Wallace. "You know, given how much Magatama looks up to you, you're lucky they weren't out to witness this mess." He says the words with dry exhaustion. "Do you need to talk about it?" It wasn't like he didn't have an idea of his frustration, but he'd rather hear it himself.

❝perhaps after this contest is over. there’s quite a lot to discuss and i’m not at all excited about reliving what happened so soon,❞ he says with a sigh. ❝you know, i doubt i can rely on that for long. regardless of whether magatama saw this argument happen the first time, i think they’ll hear of it eventually.❞

and then what? now that he’s reminded of the mewtwo again, he’s starting to dread when his described scenario will happen. the being is like a deity in terms of power--would they be kind and see things his way, or would he face divine retribution from a manmade god?

“You have me there... but let me tell you Green, I can teach you how to play. Even with one hand, I know some secrets that I think you’ll even be impressed with yourself.” She smiled at Green, her eyes immediately darting down to his Espeon with a sudden gasp. 

“What an absolute sweet heart! Thank you, both of you. I guess you caught me red handed at my kind of sport.” She chuckles, blushing with embarrassment although accepting the help from both Green and the psychic type! 

“I have to admit... I miss this place a lot. Ever since I went back to Sevii Islands, it’s just never the same, you know. Without the league, without everyone...” Her eyes drift down to the plush dolls for a moment. 

“-! Anyway! I heard that you’ve been doing a lot more now than the last time we’ve seen each other, Green. I know it’s a strange thing to hear from someone like me, but I miss this place so much, and you too! Have you been giving those trainers a run for their money?”
