Another dumb edit I made. It is Fabulance hours, my friends.

You, Surge and Koga ended up in the middle of a gang war and managed to to not only subdue five gangs but even managed to get information on all their trade routes, bank account and everything password protected. Within the span of 12 hours. The Police Departments sends their gratitude but now Interpol might try to scout the three of you."

Now, while everything he’d said was true, there was a reason they’d even bothered getting their hands dirty for something as mundane as that. No, it wasn’t because she wanted to be seen as ‘good,’ although maybe Surge would. They were just in the way, kicking up dirt where they shouldn’t be, and somehow it reached even her ears.

Somehow.

It wasn’t like a certain someone’s involvement with a certain group hadn’t been the cause of it all or if they did keep updated with the strange environment there.

    ‘ You make it sound like it’s a difficult task. ’

She smirked like a cat with a bird between their teeth.

   ‘ Unfortunately, I’ve got my hands tied with some psychic ‘things.’ ’

Besides, how was she supposed to juggle all of these titles? It’s bad enough she needs the supposed authority a Leader has, but to act under someone else’s claws for (ew) good things.

UH OH! THERE HE GOES, FALLING RIGHT ONTO THE GROUND! Too bad he was too distracted from getting all of these nice new rocks, now they’re on the ground because of this surprise attack from the other Champion!

Indigo League Farce

The day had finally arrived.

He had been preparing the past few days, and had waited until the early hours of the morning to put it all together.

After many long hours, the psychic made it back to his room just as his colleagues began to stir. When they went to their respective rooms, offices, gyms, or went looking for certain objects, they would be greeted by the annual tradition.

First up was Lance, whose office was wrapped entirely in newspaper; everything form his work desk and computer to even the floor was coated in the news. This was considerably tamer than the time he loaded the office with memes, but it was still none the less annoying.

Next was Karen. 

When she went out later to find her bike, she would find it resting neatly atop a closed dumpster, covered front to back in bubble wrap that would take hours to pull off. He knew better than to harm it in any way, so this was to ensure that her pried bike remained as such, while still allowing him to have fun!

Having known her for a long time, Will had been running out of ideas to fool her. She was like an elder sister to him, and as such she was normally immune to whatever pranks and tomfoolery he would come up with. Therefore, he decided to go with some classics, but with some twists.

For starters he took all of her beauty products, from make up to hair and hid it atop the ceiling. When she would get them down, she would realize that their contents were swapped, but not until she used them. Needless to say that she would have several different interesting scents and colours going by the time she was done.

Bruno was the next target. Since he had a huge sweet tooth, Will had decided to hide various Rage Candy Bars around his gym. However, only one was an actual bar; the rest were all healthy snacks disguised as the favourite treat. Some were taped to the walls and the floor, while others were expertly hidden and would take hours to find.

Lastly was Koga. He knew the ninja was sneaky and stealthy, and that Will would have to go all out to trip him up. Being the oldest of them all, along with being a ninja, Will’s pranks were often seen through.

Not this time, though!

When he would enter his room, he would find every inch of it decorated in elastic and string, making it near impossible to weave through. To make matters worse, some were attached to air horns that, when triggered, would let out a loud sound that would startle many a pokemon and human, Have fun traversing that maze!

It’s like her heart stops. Right there. Karen’s blood runs cold and her body stays as frozen as her heart feels in that moment staring at him. Tell him secrets..? The one man she wanted and craved attention from since her time starting as an elite? Surely every girl has her secrets, but Karen’s were bigger.. deeper and hurt Lance far more than he probably could have guessed.

“ I guess all I’ve got to lose is you. So it doesn’t really matter does it? I can’t promise you’ll enjoy what you hear Lance, but please don’t hate me.. I can’t beg you enough to not.” At least her heart will finally be free, even if it ruins her again.

“I’m so scared all the time that I’ll lose what I made for myself. When I was a girl, my brother died and I lost my home and family. It was my fault or so my parents wanted to believe and they didn’t have a use for my anymore. Or... well. My father didn’t have a use for me anymore..” She puts an emphasis on it, hoping it would catch to the champion. “I regret to mention that since then, my biggest fear is that I’ll some how make you also come to hate me so much.”

“My next secret is something you’ve probably already known but.. I love you. Not in the school girl crush, or admire you from a far. I really, really love you Lance. I love everything that is you, being with you and hearing you at my side. I’ve known for so long that it’s practically a rehearsed song in my head, playing over and over when I think of your strong hands holding mine and holding me close. I’ve never wanted a family because mine was so broken but.. truthfully.. if you asked me to be yours forever. Having a family wouldn’t be so terrible...” Which made the next secret unbearable to mention.

“Hypothetically speaking... what would you do if there was ever a team rocket agent working among your ranks..? I wonder what you would do to them, how you would treat them.. especially one that doesn’t intend any harm and only wants to leave it behind because none of it really matters. The only thing that does, is here and now.”

He also whispered something terrible in her ear: "Grandfather is feel amorous and nearly flung trainers out of the way to flirt with that one Kimono Girl who got trapped in the Ice Path. On my Dragonite we can make it to Sinnoh if he uses Extreme Speed the entire time."

Giving Lance a BIG hug (that would probably crush most people) in return, Clair was about to question just why he’d decided to show up. If something had gone wrong and --- right, she was right.

She shivered at the very idea. 

There was nothing more terrifying than Grandfather’s urges. It was a miracle their family didn’t have more branches than it had with the way Grandfather operated. The old man was in his early three digits and he still managed to put fear down the dragon master’s spine.
