It wasn’t the first time Mckay had caught Oliver Woods in her garden. To be fair, it wasn’t exactly her garden, it was a community garden, but she ran it, and she was the only one to take care of it. Well, her and Oliver Woods. And again, to be fair, she hadn’t exactly been taking care of it herself lately, so chances were all the flowers would have been dead if Oliver hadn’t been tending to them, but still, she couldn’t believe the nerve of him. Anyway, he was supposed to be suspended for the rest of the day, a fact she knew because her brother just had been, and there was no way the principal would send home just one kid for getting into a fight when both were clearly at fault.
“What do you think you’re doing?” she questioned, her voice coming out perhaps more harshly than it ever had in her life. She was generally a very gentle person, but considering this was the same kid who had punched her brother in the face earlier the same day, she wasn’t exactly feeling soft at this particular moment.
