I’m teaching at a theater program for kids a couple days a week this summer, because we all know I’d go insane if I just sat around the house for that long, and it’s so much fun to be working with younger kids again. There’s this new boy who spent the entire week in a lab coat and goggles screaming “CHEMICALS” at the top of his lungs. That’s it, that’s literally all he said for the first few days. He wouldn’t even tell us his name until the third day. Don’t get me wrong - I love working at McKinley, but this does make me miss my old job a little.

“okay, panic at the disco or fall out boy?” she asked, a serious look on her face. felicity loved every kind of music. musical theatre was her home, but pop punk was what she listened to most. she held up the vinyls of the two bands in either hand. “i don’t have enough money for both. i have to pick one. i already have pretty odd at home, but i would love to round out my collection with all of them.”

“oh god, that fuckin’ sucks,” she said with a small laugh as she watched a sand castle crumble. she watched the kid, who couldn’t be more than five or six, work on the castle for the last forty-five minutes. “that little guy worked on that thing for almost an hour,” she said. @mckinleystarters
