In 2018, when I barely spoke comprehensive English, I made a silly au that was basically a crossover of two visual novels I used to play in middle school.

Castiel, a troublemaker highschool student (and a love interest option in the first game) took place of Gardienne/Erika, who was the main character of the other game.

And, after ALMOST 6 years, I decided to do a redraw!

MCL 30 DAY DRAWING CHALLENGE DAY 3: YOUR CANDY’S BEST MALE FRIEND!!

definitely alexy!! lilac and alexy would describe their friendship as “platonic soulmates”, and if you see the two in action, that makes a whooole lotta sense. 

the two got along super quickly when alexy first came to school (as they were practically the same person LMAO) and at times, lilac chooses to confide in alexy about her more serious problems (such as family related stuff) instead of her girls. although lilac knows that he’s a very confident prankster and an overall chill person, she can always count on alexy to be there for her and give her some serious and good ass advice™  . and likewise, alexy can always count on lilac to be there with an open ear (and some baked treats) when he wants to rant about anything. 

man, alexy’s room took me so long to draw + line that i didn’t even end up colouring it all in the end LOL. 

also, day 4 of the challenge should be up later in the day!! ( hopefully ;;;; )

**RE-DOING THE “One Last Request” COMIC** - TO MY READERS

Yes, I guess that explains it... But let me break it down:

A few months ago, I began working on this little project over my free vacations, which I named “One Last Request”. The comic is developed on the My Candy Love Universe, owned by Chinomiko and the Beemov team, and it follows the arc I created for my own Candy, Noelani Orabela herself. When I began the comic around July/August, it was completly different. Although it doesn’t seem that developed yet, I had already pages sketched and ideas in my head planned. But as school came, I worked less frequently, because this year is holding my tight, specially in geometry, grrrr. Free time was running out for me to draw, so instead I focused on the plot and on the characters’ designs (not to mention I did not have my tablet, so my style has improved a bit since then). I tried to make everything work, but now, everything has changed far too much for the comic to even make sence! Noelani herself, as you can tell, changed quite a bit - in the comic vs. how I see her now. Her parents no longer look like this; Many ideas had to be deleted; Characters were simply erased from not fitting into the story any longer; And some even went from antagonists to good friends. Some friendships have changed between my character and the characters from the original universe - some were planned to be friends and now are love interests; others weren’t as good friends as they are now and vice-versa. Ahem, too much information.... ;)  Noelani’s homelife has changed aswell, and the point of that is that it will reflect on her behavior throughout the comic - that’s the whole point of this post. The whole comic has changed, and so Noelani’s behavior will change a bit. Therefore, the comic should and will be re-done.

Am I sad? Of course I am! I spent a whole lot making those pages, I worked hours on each pannel just to start it all over again? Man that sucks, but I honestly think this way will be better than to just suddenly flip in on the comic and leave readers confused and with questions!

All I can say as of right now, is that the askbox is open in case anyone wants to learn more about anything. Even if you’re curious about the simplest things! Want to know what I’m planning? The meaning behing the name of the comic, even? Want to know what’s Noelani’s relationship with certain characters? Want to know when I plan to begin the comic again? Want to know if your favorite character will be significant to the plot? PLEASE, just send! Even if it’s in anon! I always feel warm and happy when a reader leaves in an ask. I am not used to people being interested on my work, but this fandom has shown me a lot of support.

Aaaanndd speaking of support.... Here comes the usual request for you readers! I guess I can say this is my only request... Ahaha, I just made a joke with my own comic name. I suck at this. ANYWAY back to the point, would you mind at least to leave a favourite on this post? The point of it is just for me to know what size of audience I have... I would like to know who is interested in the whole concept of what I am trying to create! And oh man I just want to give out an extra-thanks in case you reblog, too.

I guess that is all for now.... This took longer to write than I thought it would. And school starts tomorrow, aaaaaaa!
