N/A: Of course you can ! There you go, hope you enjoy these (not entirely satisfied, for some reason I wasn't that inspired)

Nathaniel

Well, Nathaniel first impression was even before meeting her since, well, he was the Student Council President. And yeah, Mrs Shermanskuy probably just dropped him the file and « asked » (read there expected) him to handle it. So basically, first impression was like « Paperwork. More paperwork. »

And he couldn’t even see if she was cute or not because, in case you forgot, there wasn’t even a picture along with the file. And honestly that bugged him.

Because he wanted to know (he did not become a cop out of nowhere, he hates not knowing stuff. Do y’all really think he’s really annoyed by Amber’s gossiping ? C’mon), so he simply started to imagine (based on her name and her infos) what she could look like (not like in a creepy way but more in the way he’d portray a character from his novel way)

And the more he thought about it, even though he didn’t really want to waste time on it, the more curious he became

It’s not everyday a new student comes around and he was a bit tired to run into the same people over and over (especially some he’s known since kindergarten. Which leads to another thing : my man was PRAYING that she would not be Castiel 2.0)

And she wasn’t (thank god) 

And she was cute (thank god x2 ?)

But what was the most striking to him was how outgoing and smiley she was. Their first interaction was smooth, she was nervous but not out of shyness or discomfort, she seemed genuinely excited to be here

She seemed just so easy to be around 

No expectations, no judgement, just vibes honestly (it’s because this girl uses her critical thinking skills once in a blue moon but he doesn’t know that yet. Okay, just kidding, she’s actually super sweet)

He notices how barely few days in Sweet Amoris, she’s talking and laughing with everyone but because of that he also notices that she treats him the exact same way 

And said like that it could seem like a bad thing but it’s not to him : she doesn’t put him on a pedestal or idealises him because he’s a straight A student or the Student  Council President (unlike a certain Melody) but she doesn’t sees him as a teacher pet or an prudish uptight guy who spends his life at school (and yeah, he liked how she laughed at his jokes, made him want to tell more)

So yeah I think if you really think about it, the first thing he noticed about candy (and the thing he liked the most back than and until the end of the game) is her smile and how expressive she is. And on a deeper level, that’s a reflection of how much she cares. 

Castiel

First impression: new girl, groundbreaking. Nothing more. (Okay, mr nonchalant)

But truth to be told, he expected her to be intimidated by him since most people are. 

She wasn’t. In fact she was curious. Cautious too, yes, but curious.

Usually, he doesn’t like curiosity because he associates it with nosiness (and that he hatesss). However he quickly noticed that it wasn’t why Candy was sticking around. She wanted to know more about him but she also understood that it would only happened in his own terms. 

Which at first Castiel believed it to be a crush and doesn’t particularly entertain it (or at least that’s what he tells himself) 

After all, at that point he had just gotten out of a messy relationship (I’m not sure how long it has been since the beginning of HSL and the whole Debrah fiasco before Candy got there, but can’t more than a year)

And then he notices that Candy is just curious about everyone and helping around all the fucking time

So what he thought to be a special treatment, isn’t really (and that bruises his ego a bit lmao) but that’s also the moment where he starts taking her more seriously. And suddenly, he starts feeling the tension between them when he teases her (before that, it was just entertaining but now there’s a new edge to it, and he likes a little too much when she bites back)

He even categorises her as “not annoying » which is high praise coming from him (and the first hint of a crush hum hum)

Lysander

Do we really need to remind everyone that Candy’s first impression of him was that she thought she was a ghost ?

From there you can only imagine that he was confused af

Why the hell would you think that ??? You heard noises in a high school and directly assumed it was a ghost ? 

But then, he’s also a bit endeared because that’s cute (and the fact she went full Sherlock Holmes about it is cute too) 

Also liked that she didn’t tell anyone when she found out about his and Castiel’s rehearsals 

I believe Lysander trusts  gut feelings a lot when it comes to people and truly, I believe he felt that he could trust candy right away

He saw how earnest she was and how good willed, she simply didn’t mean harm to anyone (besides Amber, but even then it’s pretty chill compared to how much of a b*tch Amber could be in HSL) 

He also notices her wandering the halls like she’s trying not to get lost.

Their first conversation is soft, almost hesitant.

Candy listens to him without interrupting, without rushing him and that alone makes him comfortable around her. And she actually seems to think about what he saying, as if she cared about his opinion despite not knowing him for long 

He finds her presence refreshing, grounding despite the usual chaos she seems to attracts

I feel like Lysander is the LI that realises his crush the fastest BUT he’s the one that took the most time to develop it (like it took him a little while to GET that crush, but once it was here, he didn’t shy away from it) and honestly it starts as something calm and unassuming, like background music he doesn’t realise he’s memorised yet (sorry y’all, I’ve been rewatching brigerton and I’m kinda getting ahead of myself with the metaphors) 

Kentin

We all know that Candy knew KEN before HSL

But since I’ve seen many in this fandom being pissed at Candy for considering Kentin as a romantic option only AFTER the glow-up, let’s rewrite the story a bit (because I can)

Let’s rewind back to middle school, where they met each other (before going to the same highschool and then moving to Sweet Amoris for their final year)

Kentin, or Ken if you may, was not the popular kid as you’d expect. But neither was Candy. She had friends, she did good in school, not exceptionally but still pretty good. She was friendly with everyone, staying out of dramas despite having friends who were magnets for it (and yeah, I mean Laeti, the closer I get to growing my frontal lobe to its full potential, the more I realise that « friends » like her might be fun, but only if you’re wiling to put aside your peace of mind).

Ken, on the other hand, did not have much friends. Not any, truth to be told. There were some guys that were nice to him, people he could chat with, but never close enough to call them friends. And for the rest of the kids, there were pretty harsh on him (to put it mildly)

Which is why he never expected a girl like Candy to even look at him. And she didn’t. Not because she didn’t want to, but because Kentin was so good at trying to make himself invisible that she didn’t even get to notice him (or notice that the reason he was doing that was because he tried to avoid the others picking on him)

But at some point, they were paired for a group work or some activity (could be a history presentation or a PE activity, your pick) and that was their first interaction. 

He knew who she was before he ever talked to her, and yeah, he taught she was pretty. Immediately. 

Their first conversation is short, awkward, and mostly one-sided because he panics. Candy smiles at him anyway, like his nervousness doesn’t bother her. In fact, she even tries to make him more comfortable by cracking a joke or two. 

And that’s it. He’s done for. From that day on, she becomes someone he wants to impress, even if he has no idea how.

And let’s say that we’re still in this middle school setting, so Candy’s friends (or other bullies) tease her for her « friendship » with Kentin and Candy, as we see in the game, reacts pretty badly to that (I mean she gets easily riled up by Amber’s immaturity and all so when she was even younger, it could have been worse. And seing how horrible Laeti was with him, it could have rubbed off on her to some extent). So Candy tries to tone it down, plays uninterested  (or even slightly annoyed) when Kentin is around and people are watching. But she’s never proud of it and every time she can, she tries to make up for it to Kentin (which makes him falls harder despite it being quite toxic)

Thank god, in HSL, Candy’s attitude towards Ken doesn’t last more than a few episodes. It’s a bit sad that she allows herself to be openly nice to him only after his glow-up but hey, they’re kids after all (she’s learning, let her cook) 

Armin

Now, Armin is the hardest to imagine because he is the embodiment of nonchalance.

Even more than Castiel (bad comparison because we all know that Castiel is CHALANT af, he’s just emo about it)

So I don’t think he really thought much about it besides « cute ». 

However, I do believe that « she’s cute » quickly turned into « fun to mess with » 

So he did

And she kinda grew on him

Not so nonchalant then, are we ? 

But I think if you were to put it into popular tropes, it's clearly a friends to lovers.

Therefore, that's why Armin's first impression of Candy was that "she's someone I could be friend with"

And it doesn't seem like a lot but it truly is because Armin is really independent. He's easy-going but mainly because he knows he doesn't need to be surrounded by people at all time (unlike his twin) to feel good. So he just acts how he feels like acting and it draws people in (the art of being authentic)

So for him to consider Candy becoming a part of his circle (that is inexistent as far as we know off ??? I mean before he adopted Nathaniel and started rage baiting Kentin) is pretty big and it's honestly the only way for him to get romantically interested in someone. He needs to be their friend first (he's the guy friend that's gonna come up to you with "there's something I need to tell you" someday. Dreadful)

Alrighttt so not entirely satisfied as I said, perhaps went a bit out of topic but you know what ? hell yeh

Also I got in my inbox questions about whether or not the requests were open and the answer is : YES.

However, some requests are pretty similar (perhaps from the same anon, and if that's the case, I see you bestie) so obviously I can't really do them or it'll get very boring, very soon. All that to say, be specific or you can even ask for prompts if that's what you're going for (just know that I started a corporate internship which basically means I'm either being exploited or being left in a corner to rot and, as horrible as it sounds, it gives me plenty of time to write. You matter and comparing yourself to others it’s a toxic habit your brain has – and if someone is comparing you to someone, fuck them. You deserve a way more than that. NATHANIEL

He is pretty familiar with the concept of comparing yourself with someone else due to not feeling enough, and notices your subtle actions. How you unsoncsiously talk insecurely about yourself, how you doubt so much even of the smallest things, even those in which you used to be good at.

He notices how you look too much at someone, how you even look at Melody and become quiet due to the negative thoughts that may wander through your mind. 

Nathaniel concludes by how insecure you become around them that you just compare yourself to them. And he gets slightly mad, not at you, just at the idea of you doing that.

One day, as you’re making him company on the Student Council Room at noon, he decides to bring up the subject. “What is going on through your mind?” he asks, stopping his tasks just to sit on the table, right beside you. He wanted you to pay attention to him.

He expects you to be honest about it. If not, he already knows the reason. “Look, dear… you must stop. It makes no sense comparing yourself to anyone,” he firmly speaks, “everyone is different and unique, not less.”

From now on, he makes more genuine compliments to reinforce your confidence. 

He becomes more attentive of you and your feelings, and he lowkey scolds you for talking bad about yourself because - what’s the point of treating yourself so poorly?

The slightest change of your mood is enough for him to have a hand over yours, squeezing it reassuringly. 

CASTIEL

The moment a comment like “I’m not as pretty as…” comes out from your mouth, he has to take a deep, deep breath and rolls his eyes. He reacts immediately, not giving you a second chance to keep comparing yourself to anyone else. It could be easy to do it, to compare yourself with his ex girlfriend (ew).

But you're better than anything he has ever had.

He cannot stand seeing you treating yourself that bad. He might sound a little bit harsh, but he is honest about it: “what the hell are you saying now? Have you seen yourself?”

Castiel doesn’t want anyone else and deeply wishes that you could see yourself the way he does. And he is going to make sure that you get his point.

If you don’t value yourself, he’ll do it for both of you until you can also see it.

He tries his best to be more patient about the fact that you talk so badly about yourself, because he gets genuinely mad at the concept of comparison. So he also learns to be more patient.

He genuinely dislikes whoever makes you insecure.

Whenever you show any signs of comparing yourself, he shows up quietly for you. He might touch your chin gently, so you can make eye contact with him and he’ll say “don’t. You’re the one I want, I don’t need you to be any different from how perfect you are.”

LYSANDER

It might take a while for him to get what is wrong. He might take your long silences as a sign of peace, because silence equals to calm for him. But he can see you detached from reality, diving into your thoughts. Lysander grabs your hand and gently asks if you are doing alright.

So you decided to be honest with him and share your inner insecurities and how they were affecting you lately. Therefore, he feels sad that he has let you feel that way instead of reassuring you as he should.

Lysander takes his time to think the best ways of making you feel better about yourself.

And he makes it very very special! Lysander starts writing poems to you about how you’re the only one that matters to him, about what a precious and unique flower you are… (well things like that, I’m not that romantic to think about how many things he could write im sorrybgjbjkdf…)

He makes you feel understood and genuinely reassured, not judged. Lysander might encourage you to open up whenever you overthink so he can clear your mind from any lie your mind comes up with.

He doesn’t pressure you to talk about what you think whenever those thoughts catch you, he simply stays by your side and provides you support by talking about other stuff, complimenting you or caressing your back gently.

KENTIN

He’s oblivious at first and thinks that the reason why you are so quiet is because you are falling out of love with him :(. 

You take longer to answer him, or avoid eye contact as you're focused on your own thoughts. He overthinks himself at first, trying to think that maybe you’re worried about some exams, about any personal problems or… whatever…

But what if you’re going through something worse and he isn’t there to help you through it? He doesn’t want to be a bad boyfriend. So he decides to stop the walk to your house and face you, asking you directly what is wrong.

You decided to be honest and tell you how you were feeling lately, feeling less than anyone. Remember how he was dumb and kissed Amber? You even had material to overthink about it and was one of the reasons of your overthinking too.

Look, he’s clumsy expressing himself so he may stutter or get offended by seeing how you think so badly of yourself. “Have you met you? You are perfect, you are everything a single person would wish for,” he expresses with worry, probably exaggerating a little his gesturing - but he means it. You’re perfect for him. 

He becomes more aware of your signs of discomfort when someone that makes you insecure is around, and he kinda bombs you with his lovely thoughts about you. They aren’t few, there are a lot.

ARMIN

Not gonna lie, this dummy probably made you insecure by making any joke. He’s a man, don’t expect him to think too much /hj. 

When he finds out you’re overthinking because of him and due to that you started comparing yourself with others, he gets mad at himself. He tries to take it easy at first, and says “comparing yourself is like comparing a visual novel with a shooter; it makes no sense.”

No, but seriously, when he sees that it is affecting you more than he expected, he takes it seriously. He sets aside any jokes he can be able to make and listens to you.

Armin may be a good listener, but not a good adviser. He feels bad he doesn’t know the immediate solution to delete that bad habit of yours, because he hates seeing you think so low of yourself. 

He randomly texts you beautiful things as a reminder that you’re the one he wants to marry and the only one he wants.

Armin is going to spend more time with you, distracting you with spontaneous dates, taking you to cinema, playing any games or whatever that creates a new memory between you both and makes you forget those thoughts for a while. Maybe the safer and closer you feel in the relationship, the lesser you’d compare yourself.

Tomodachi Life: My Candy Love Edition 🧁🩷

Nobody asked, but here’s the current relationship status of the MCL cast on my Tomodachi Life island 💕 we’ll start here with the HSL love interests.

Kentin 💚🍪

Not gonna lie, I was absolutely thrilled when he fell in love with my Candy because he’s been my favorite MCL boy for years 💚 now they’re enjoying a happy marriage.

He’s also the first character I gave a face paint redesign after I finally bought a stylus. The others are still waiting for their glow-up, but Kentin had to be first.

Castiel ❤️🎸

Before anyone comes for me… I swear this wasn’t planned. 😭 The only canon thing that happened here is Amber developing a crush on Castiel. That’s it.

At some point he became friends with Amber, Li and Charlotte, and I honestly expected the drama to go in a completely different direction.

Instead, Tomodachi Life decided that Castiel and Li were meant to be and made them fall in love. Now they’re married.

I would love to tell you there was a master plan behind this.

Armin 💜🎮

Another pairing I definitely didn’t expect.

Instead of developing a crush on Nathaniel or Rayan, Melody somehow fell for Armin instead… and he actually liked her back.

They’re married now and somehow ended up being one of the sweetest couples on the island. 💜

Also, this is still my favorite Tomodachi Life conversation.

Nathaniel 💙👔

Nathaniel’s love life on this island has been… a journey.

First, he liked my Candy but she chose Kentin.

Then fell for Kim but she rejected him (I really thought that pairing had potential, but apparently not).

Just when I was starting to think he was doomed, he fell for Priya… and she actually liked him back.

They dated for a long time before getting married, and I’m happy to report that Nathaniel finally got his happy ending. 💙

Lysander 🖤📗

This was another pairing I never saw coming. Lysander somehow fell in love with Iris. ☀️

Even though she’s cheerful, energetic and sunshine personified, while he’s much more quiet and reserved, they ended up getting along surprisingly well.

Also, he’s the second boy I redesigned with face paint. I know Lysander is supposed to have heterochromia, but I sacrificed it so he could blink properly. 🥹

BONUS: Nina being canonically Nina 💀

I added plenty of the friends and side characters, so there are unexpected couples and island drama I haven’t talked about yet.

Some of the married couples have even started having children already, so technically we’re entering the My Candy Love second generation era.

✧. - ̗̀ CASTIEL . . .

we all know castiel has the worst temper out of the boys. he feels and sometimes because when he started dating you he truly wanted to change that, control more his reactions. truth is, you helped him a lot with that without even realizing it, he got a lot more calmed around you, more mindful, watching his words to not be hurtful or not sound as aggressive when vision his opinions or expressing himself, he learned to be gentler.

however, he hates arguing with you, he really does. but most of the time he forgets that because he gets pissed and suddenly he gets defensive and all he thinks about he’s not being the one loosing the argument. i feel like he’s easily taken over by feelings and he might say hurtful things but regrets them immediately after they left his mouth but he’s too proud to just immediately apologize so he normally storms off and decides a right then and there the argument is over.

arguments normally start because i think he has a hard time expressing his feelings. he’s the kind of guy who never got used to doing it when he was young so he sometimes feels corny about opening up and telling you what hurts him or annoys him so when you accidentally do sometimes he takes it personal and doesn’t realize he can simply communicate it to you.

but something about him is that he will never ignore you. he is very emotional in terms of being very temperamental and not controlling properly his feelings sometimes but he has a certain degree of maturity that makes stop in his tracks and tell himself that he’s not a child and that he won’t act like one. i mean, he’s still stupidly in love with you even when he’s mad and he’s very anxious when u don’t talk to him for a while. which also plays a very important role in him apologizing, because he’s miserable when u don’t talk to him. he gets grumpier and more annoyed and snappy than usual, which says a lot, and since he changed a lot more since he got with you (he’s not a sunshine and rainbows kind of guy now), it’s easy for people to assume he’s upset because you’re mad at him or because he argued with you, lysander being normally the one to talk some sense into him about how he needs to stop being dumb and simply apologize (if he’s the one who fucked up).

when he was the one in the wrong, he will come and apologize, maybe in his own awkward way but he will because he refuses to let you two feel weird around each other just because he’s terrible with words. he will randomly caught you alone, probably after looking nervous as hell the whole day following u around and looking like he wants to say something he doesn’t dare to, and simply grab your shoulders and tell you straight up “I didn’t mean that, okay? Any of what I said.” He frowned (which looked more like a very slight pout), and u were going to make a comment about it but couldn’t because he was speaking again. “I’m sorry. I know I give you a lot of reasons to get tired of me but,” And then you were kissing him, very hard, knowing everything else he needed to say already, and deciding to spare him from the suffering of getting cheesier than that, to which he got all relieved, chuckling into your lips before grabbing your face and kissing you deeper.

also, make up sex is a MUST for him, not every time, but you look really hot when you’re angry. and you found that seeing you pissed (when it’s not serious) and mouthing off at him makes him stop listening entirely. so it normally leads to him pining you to whatever is closer, not needing to make it to a bed, sneaky fingers making you forget entirely what did he even do to annoy you, lips devouring yours and swallowing every insult you intended to throw at him, because now all you want to do is make up and he will definitely give you a good reason to forgive him. and yes it does work when he’s the one pissed. “i’m still mad,” he said breathlessly (which sounded like a whine but he won’t admit it so better not to point it out). “mhm” you hummed against his skin mockingly. “should i stop then?” you said, holding his shirt up with ur hands as your lips mouthed on his lower stomach area. “fuck no,” and u chuckled at that.

✧. - ̗̀ NATHANIEL . . .

nath is very weird when it comes to arguments. because he naturally wants to de-escalate them before they get worse, normally because he definitely doesn’t like fighting or anything that involves yelling and shouting at each other. after what happened to him he came to the realization that he won’t ever raise his voice at you, which is hard when someone is angry but he refuses to see a look in your eyes he had seen on himself before when someone u love yells at you just because they’re mad, so that’s a big no for him while fighting.

he struggles, contrary to castiel, to admit his feelings to himself. he’s a very strong people pleaser, he always has been and it’s hard to get rid of that, so he constantly thinks that he needs to not be too much in order to not be annoying and so people won’t get annoyed by him. that’s why even when something hurts him, like being misunderstood. when people don’t understand his intentions, when u assume the worst of him even if it’s unconscious, because he opens himself to you, in his own way, he shows you who he truly is, so when u accidentally and unconsciously show somehow that u view him differently then what he desperately tries to show of himself it hurts him really bad. but he convinces himself that all those things that make him feel bad are fine, and that he doesn’t care, when it only make him bottle it all up until it eventually explodes. the same with the fact that your opinion matter too much to him, so feeling like he disappointed you or you’re not proud enough of him can make him overthink and just pull away which bothers you because u want him to talk about how he feels and it’s stressful when you don’t.

he hates arguments because it makes him feel like loving sometimes it’s not everything. it makes him overthink and doubt himself, like do you love him enough to stay? did he say or did something that finally made you realize he’s not worth staying for? It just creates so much doubt in him and doubt sucks when you love someone as much as he loves you, and loosing people has always been easier for him than keeping them because what could he possibly have in him that it’s good enough to make people stay as easily as they decide it isn’t worthy. and it’s so sad that he thinks because nath is like the coolest boy ever, he has so many interests that nobody knows of and u got to know and he’s so sweet and so attentive and you hate that he sees himself in such a bad light.

which takes me to making up. after arguing he gets anxious. he closes in on himself and simply pretends it doesn’t bother him, that it’s okay and that maybe you need space and the problem will fix itself. except this man does not sleep a bit at night. he’s just laying there thinking and thinking and thinking. he’s also pretends to not be hovering bus he’s waiting for you after class, he’s asking you unnecessary questions during class you know damn well he knows the answers to just to check how pissed you still are. and after a while, he will just come up to you looking miserable and dive into your arms and start apologizing into your neck. and it’s so sad it would be cruel to not forgive him right then and there. he’s just kissing all over your face and apologizing, “I’m sorry baby”, “I promise I’ll tell you how i feel more everyday” “That’s definitely lie” “Maybe, but I’ll try! I swear!”, and when u simply grab his worried face and kiss him properly any anger left just melts away immediately.

funny thing is hell looked like a kicked puppy for the next few days and you better reassure him everytime that you aren’t mad anymore and that it’s fine, and that you forgive him and he’s a great boyfriend, otherwise he’ll have that sad expression for a while until he convinces himself you’re actually on good terms now.

the most mature of them all. he’s so deeply patient it’s really hard to piss him off in general, so imagine with you. lys never gets angry at you, it’s really for him to do so because he loves you so much he struggles to stay mad. he’s human, he obviously gets angry sometimes but it never lasts long because you two always find a way to communicate during them or if you fail to, he waits for you to cool off so he can gently approach you after and properly talk to you about what bothered him, listen to you to know what bothers you, to pay attention and actually remember that to not do it again.

one of the very few things that make him sad, not mad, sad, is not feeling cared for. he’s very attentive. lys is so in love with you, he constantly makes sure to always do the right thing. to listen to your needs, to be thoughtful, to put you before others as his partner, to constantly reassure you and make you feel like what you are: someone he’s in love with you. just trying to cultivate the relationship everyday in little ways, and when he doesn’t feel loved back in that same intensity, then he feels hurt because it makes him think he’s the only one trying and he needs back that kind of love that he shows to you constantly, so that happening is something that hurts him. or another particular thing he hates, is if you put someone before him. he’s not toxic, he encourages every other relationship you have, but if he knows for sure (considering what we all know that he’s a very jealous guy) that a guy is crossing a line, or that he’s very obviously flirting with you and you defend them to him, even if it’s not like fully, just the implication that you’re making him feel like he’s overreaction and the interaction wasn’t like that when they clearly were interested in you, makes him feel like you’re not giving him the place he deserves as your partner and it hurts him because yours, and he makes that very clear, so why can’t you do that for him as well?

during arguments he’s very gentle. he’ll ask to talk, he’ll voice out to you everything that he didn’t like. hes not embarrassed or troubled at all with sharing his feelings. he’s actually very open about them and doesn’t shy away from telling u when he’s sad, to cry a bit because he gets emotional when it really hurts him, to tell you it made him feel bad. and it’s something u appreciate so much because he’s very private, he’s very hard to read, and you get the privilege of being someone he feels comfortable enough to open up to, and to freely speak about how he feels and you make him feel safe too, and he appreciates that too. a lot.

so yes. he’s definitely very good at communicating. he also very rarely allows you or allows himself to go too long without apologizing. he will respect fully your time if you want space, i you want to talk, if you want to be heard, whatever it is, he can do it for you. he feels really guilty when he goes too far sometimes during arguments, which rarely happens but sometimes he gets too lost in his own feelings that he doesn’t realize he might be asking you for too much. and that’s when he immediately apologizes first.

he hates sleeping after a fight. absolutely hates it. even if you both decide to continue the conversation tomorrow because you're exhausted, he'll still pull you into his arms before bed and press a kiss into your hair. he also loves hearing your perspective. genuinely. even when it hurts. because for him, understanding you is more important than being right. he'll ask questions. these are some of the things he does after a fight after apologizing because he believes the aftermath of showing you his love is not conditional to wether he was angry at your or not. another thing about him is that as observant as he is, you cannot pretend you’re not mad anymore when you actually are. he’s very good at noticing your moods, and therefore, he can easily tell when you’re saying it’s fine but it’s not really fine.

and he’ll wait, he won’t force you to, but he tries really hard to make you feel like you can be yourself and be messy and be angry and be open and be yourself with him so he appreciates honesty from you a lot, because it’s hard sometimes to open up and he really appreciates whenever you do it for him.
