NO, HE TOTALLY DID not doze off while on his laptop. such an accusation would be an insult to arthur - in what way, i’m not entirely sure, but he isn’t exactly the type to just ‘fall asleep’ on the job ( this being a broad faced lie, considering that the guy didn’t get the sleep he deserved in the first place ). something is grumbled under his breath, head lifted lazily from his keyboard ; eyes not quite focused when they fall on the stranger. it isn’t long before he’s paling the computer being shut without a moments notice.

“That’s--” she cut herself off, a familiar heavy feeling of both anxiety and a crawling sense of unease catching her words in her chest. Katherine took a small breath before continuing with, what she hoped to be, a subtle clearing of her throat.
“I like your camera. It’s neat.”
Maybe it was Alice, maybe it was someone else nearby, but whatever was there was bothering her. Still, this other woman didn’t seem like she was too friendly or social, but her camera was something that caught her eye too much for her to say nothing about it.
