I'm gonna finish the facial hair/bangs and at the very least the adams apple but I keep debating if I should leave it at that or paint literally all of him. Like I still gotta add the shirt but the end goal for this piece isn't just going to be a painting as is. Gonna edit it and add some interesting visuals and details and shit based on the Edge of Sleep's art and design aesthetics... Idk, we shall see

Liam is the art teacher at Casper High! He is in his mid-late 30's, he has chronic insomnia, and he cares deeply for his students.

He uses his ghost powers to protect his school and his kids, though no one knows it's their beloved art teacher the kids at Casper High have dubbed his ghost form the Guardian.

Liam is not your typical halfa as he was born with his powers instead of obtaining them through death! He never knew his parents as they passed when he was young, but after doing some digging Liam believes one of his parents might have been a halfa. It would explain his ghost DNA and the traits he's exhibited his entire life. Having had his powers for as long as he remembers has given him the advantage of being very well versed in his ghostly capabilities. To aid his vigilante endeavors he has also sought out combat and self defense training.

Guardian is considered an annoying but competent ally to Phantom and his crew. The Guardian insists on them calling for backup should there be any attack. They're his kids too, after all. And yes, he does figure out the Fenton/Phantom situation... He uses his actual name... And he's kind of obvious. There have been many transformations accidentally witnessed. For a while he just pretended not to have seen or know anything, but after 3 times in one week—it was getting a little ridiculous. So now the goofy art teacher helps cover for him. Turns out, having a teacher backing you up has a lot of perks. Who'd have thought?

He's not fully fleshed out but there might be more of Liam in the future!
