Numbers 20 to 11 today! We're in the homestretch!

20. Papers, Please Previous Rank: 17 (Available on Steam, GOG) Papers, Please is one of those rare games that keeps you on your toes, while trying to make you think. It's definitely worth a few playthroughs.

19. Burnout Paradise Previous Rank: 18 (Available on: Steam, EA) Burnout Paradise is a great open-world racer with great music, great cars, and a great sense of scale. It simply hasn't been done as well as this.

18. McPixel 3 Previous Rank: 6 (Available on: Steam) McPixel 3 only dropped because it's more of an experience than a game, and once you play it, and complete all the levels, you might not go back to it. But it's definitely a game to experience.

17. Sam & Max Hit The Road Previous Rank: 14 (Available on: Steam, GOG) Ah, the first Sam & Max game, where most people were first introduced to the classic characters, done by LucasArts. It's a great time solving a wacky mystery. I was introduced via the cartoon, but this is one of the best adventure games.

16. System Shock (Original) Previous Rank: 7 (Available on: Steam, GOG) The original System Shock is still a groundbreaking game for the time it came out, and it's still fun to play, even with the remake. Both are good options for playing the story.

15. Left 4 Dead 2 Previous Rank: 60 (Available on: Steam) Replaying this recently, it's still a blast, even if you happen to die just before getting on the escape vehicle, it's just a fun co-op shooter with many campaigns, and a lot of ways to play.

14. Portal 2 Previous Rank: 9 (Available on: Steam) Portal is one of those series that just clicks with you in a way that makes you feel happy. The characters are great, the puzzles are great... just a great game all around.

13. Sam & Max: Freelance Police (All Three Seasons) New Entry (Available on: Steam [Save the World, Beyond Time and Space, The Devil's Playhouse], GOG [Save the World, Beyond Time and Space]) I don't know how this trilogy of excellent point-and-click adventure perfection didn't make this list last time. I love the Telltale Sam & Max games, they're clever, funny, and just right. Save The World, Beyond Time & Space, and The Devil's Playhouse are all great and get the characters right.

12. PAYDAY 2 Previous Rank: 2 (Available on: Steam) Yeah, it fell a little bit, but PAYDAY 2 is still one of my favorite co-op shooters. PAYDAY 3's alright, but PAYDAY 2 is a classic.

11. Serious Sam First Encounter/Second Encounter Previous Rank: 13 (Available on: Steam [Original: Classics Revolution; HD: First Encounter, Second Encounter], GOG [Original: First Encounter, Second Encounter]) The original is considered the best by most people, and it's easy to see why. Great enemies, great weapons, great levels, great music, it's just solidly made. And the HD versions aren't bad either!

If you want one of the most random, funny, WEIRD, and kinda perverted (if you pay attention) video games out there....

(and it just came on xbox game pass)

Mcpixel 3.

(even the name is a joke since it's the first in the series).

It's like Warioware meets schizophrenia.. The entire game is figuring out all the different ways to beat a timed puzzle, but 1/2 the time the real solution makes no fucking sense (like killing a fly and wearing its' wings to fly off. That's one of the PG ones....)

It's simple, yet, it will take you a few tries to get 100% of each round sometimes.

If you want to laugh at something completely and utterly nonsensical, in the best of ways (I haven't laughed this much at a new game in a while) Mcpixel 3. You will never play a game quite like it. I can say that.

Easily 8/10. Controls get a lil wonky, and some of the solutions they make difficult to actually select it, but 100% worth the play thru. Only reason it's not a 9/10 (no game really is a 10/10 besides Skyrim and shit) is because of how insanely short it is. An afternoon. But, to be fair, it was basically made by 1 guy (based on his name dry humping the credits) so...I get it. It took me an afternoon to beat, maybe years for him to make. Go play it. You will have some fun.
