hi darlings! so, i've been thinking about this a lot lately, dismissing the idea several times because i've grown to really love this group, and appreciate you admins and the members so much. but, i'm afraid that (because of several reasons) i've simply lost muse for my roles and i should focus on my exams either way. therefore, i'll have to leave the group. thank you so, so much for the wonderful couple months - you're all amazing and i love you !! xoxo

“This is gorgeous!” She beamed as she looked around at all the holiday decorations. “I guess I never paid attention to how much Valdez goes all out. I--should have.” She’s taking in the view, a smile from ear to ear on her face and as she looks up when the first few flakes of snow begin to fall, she notices the mistletoe slightly above them, hanging from the holly. “Oh.” Her gaze flickers toward Link’s features and she drinks them in before leaning in to press a soft kiss against his lips. “Thank you for bringing me here.” She murmurs against the corner of his mouth before pulling away with a smile. | @linkdcvries

It was complicated. This was exactly the type of thing she tried to stay away from but as time progressed, she felt a gravitational pull toward the doctor that she couldn’t shake off. “You’re very convincing.” She smiled, walking up to him, eyes flickering up to the mistletoe above them. “Which is dangerous for someone like me, doc.” She closed the gap between them and tip-toed to press a kiss against his neck before cupping his face in her hands. “But I’m strangely okay with it.” her lips met his for a kiss she had been dying for since the day he asked her out.

He didn’t even know why he was there for her. Gilles just knew to be there. No questions asked. That was how amazing he was and at times she wondered if she deserved a sliver of that. “I promise I’ll explain...” She whispered and placed her head on his chest. “Thank you for being such a wonderful man.”

❛  promise you what? that this won’t happen again?  ❜ the way she spoke, the way she carried herself, the way her eyes didn’t quite see the person before her --- vera was tired. her fingers massaged her temples in slow, circular motions and she sighed. ❛  i think you and i both know better than that. that’s a promise made to be broken,  ❜ she said dully. ❛  we didn’t sign up for peace; we signed up for WAR. so i can’t promise you anything beyond that i’m trying to be more careful. i know that’s not the answer you want, but it’s the only answer i have. i can’t push myself for more.  ❜
