I was re-reading the demo (I can't access the menu to save or load anymore while I'm playing 😭) and I notice that if MC is mad or wants to cut off the relationship with the parents, MC thinks that the dad seemed a bit nervous while speaking on the phone, while if MC is hopeful, the dad seems normal/relaxed. Is it just a reflection of MC's feelings, or the dad is actually nervous if MC is pissed?

That has since been fixed :D. It's a bit of a combination of both. Out of MC's parents, he's much more aware of how MC reacts/feels than their mother.

I know how it feels to have parents that are strict (the driving is super weird to me bc I’m from a rural Wisconsin town and driving is something we need to do to go anywhere) but MC’s dad from RoD is so good. He’s a single parent, it’s implied that his wife died (tragic and heartbreaking), he is sending his only daughter to her dream college, he’s a detective/cop who took on a huge case, seems very nice and understands you’re a teenager and want to experience stuff like a party, doesn’t go all “a boy drove you home?! Is it your boyfriend?!”, trusts your mc, stays up late to make sure you get home safe, makes you a birthday cupcake that says “my favorite girl”, and best of all? Makes your favorite breakfast Every Day. What a good dad.
