Sigyn by Tchouuuki

At the Made in Asia con last week, I commissioned quite a few artists, so much so that at some point, I ran out of pictures/reference to give for Mythology!Sigyn. So I gave the lovely tchouuuki (on Instagram) pictures of Sigyn in the Marvel comics and a few of the fan arts I commissions over the last three years, while telling her of Marvel's unfair treatment of Sigyn.

And DAMN. She perfectly understood the assignment. This Sigyn looks so badass (and pissed of, as she should be XD).

Love that attitude for her :p

Yesterday, I went to a convention in Ghent and I had the pleasure to meet several artists. I asked them to draw Sigyn and DAMN. This Sigyn looks so cute and sexy <3 She's looking at Loki :3 <3

I was able to meet the great Shannen Baljé, aka SGI creations on Instagram, and she drew this adorable Sigyn variant :3 LOOK AT WHAT YOU TOOK FROM LOKI, KEVIN. LOOK AT HER.

Shannen was absolutely lovely, and though she was very busy that day, she was able to finish this beautiful portrait. Such amazing work!!! If you can commission her, please do. She's brilliant! <3

Another Chance

Sigyn stared into the reflection of herself in the mirror, while her maid made her ready. This day felt weirdly surreal. She awoke this morning, thinking she had died and entered the after world. But she didn't.

But it wasn't a wild dream, she was been murdered by her own husband, only to been thrown back to the day she would be betrothered to him. The vanir princess arrived this evening in asgard, now getting ready for the feast to celebrate her engagement to theoric.

She knew stories about people getting another chance, to change their fate. Sigyn had to come up with a plan, quickly. Her mind had wondered of to someone particular, loki. He had asked her in the past, but she had turned him down, since he was trickster, a troublemaker. A arrogant prince. But know she had a different sight on things. He would be soon imprisoned, then dead, so she would be free within a year, a widow, free to go wherever she wanted to go.

After she was had won the fight with her maids, not to dress her up like a trophy, like her mother commanded to, she walked around the hall, filled with various people. A golden dress hugged her figure, fitting to her golden hair, long and in open waves. She grabbed a cup of sweet wine, letting her eyes wander around to watch out for the trickster, without looking to obvious, since she guessed it would intrigue him more if she was still ignorant towards him.

Some months had gone by, since Sigyn visited asgard, she was close to prince Loki, not so close as her heart secretly wished to be, but they were close ever since and she was too afraid to lose this friendship.

Her family visited for the feast of queen frigga and Sigyn was dressed in a yellow dress in vanir fashion. It had a tight bodice with long flowly skirts and long poofy sleeves, while her hair was in open waves and braids. Her hair and skirts moved around her, while she nearly rushed through the crowd, searching for a young man with raven black hair, loki was never hard to find, he always outstand everyone else, at least for her.

As she failed to find him in the crowd, she started looking for him in the library, where he usually used to hide. "Loki?" she asked softly, while she walked through the rows, until she found him. "My prince?" she asked with a playful smirk, before she shifted nearer and placed her hands on her hips. "it's pretty rude to not welcome me, why you're hiding here?"
