MCU Spidey needs to end with a PeterMJ wedding. Idc about anything else this version of the character needs to go full circle from the homecoming dance to his wedding.
Feige if you can hear me, I'll stop making fun of your male pattern baldness just please let PeterMJ wedding happen in the MCU.
It can't be overstated just how bad the quality dip from Homecoming to Far From Home was for MCU Spider-Man.
At its core, Homecoming still cared about Peter, his world, and his friends. It was part of the MCU, sure, but those connections still served the story around HIM.
FFH took that and reversed it. It stripped Peter of his agency and made everything about Tony and the whole metatext of "being the next Iron Man". The Decathlon team became an afterthought, and S.H.I.E.L.D became more important to Peter's story than his own friends.
So while I do think the MCU Spidey hate was definitely overblown, I can understand why some people felt uneasy about the character.
Also what was up with them keeping Sara’s hair tie out in the open in that room like a murder trophy that was scary
Spider-Man Brand New Day(BND)
Saw Brand New Day and it was such a good movie.
My fave bit had to be Frank muttering under his breath he’s gonna kill that kid then having a full blown attack when he thinks he did kill the kid. Also Jean genuinely chilled my bones throughout the whole movie.
2026 movie bibliography will be going down in history
we have truly been blessed
the theory of this being jean saying goodbye to peter is cute but it completely misses the point of the scene imo. this is the moment peter truly sees the impact he's had as spider-man. it's the moment he will keep coming back to when things get difficult or everything feels pointless just to remind himself what he's fighting for. he's fighting for this kid, for all these people who came together to support their hero in his time of need just like he's supported them and that alone makes everything worth it
tfw you're Peter Parker
