Love story || Loki x Reader ||

Gathering into the crowded stadium, you could hardly contain your excited jitters as you stared down at the stage below, the stage that Taylor would soon stand on and blow away your night. And you got to spend it with Loki!

Loki had surprised you with tickets for the eras tour at your birthday party that Stark had held just a month ago. You had blinked at them incredulously, wondering if they were real before Loki laughed and assured you they were real and you jumped into his arms and laughed with delight. It had always been a big dream of yours to go to a concert by Taylor Swift, you were constantly listening to her songs even if you were on Asgard.

Now you were finally in the stadium and your nerves were ringing in your ears but you could ignore them by pushing all of your excitement to the surface and squealing like an idiot when the lights flashed and Taylor appeared on the stage.

Loki stood beside you with a smile on his face, his phone out and taking photos constantly through the concert as he watched you in your element, singing song after song to your heart's content. Tears filled your eyes at the realisation that you were finally at the eras tour! You were there, you'd made it!

Loki had designed your outfit for the tour, having waited to see what Taylor would wear on Night One before taking you on the second night with an outfit inspired by Taylor's folklore dress only in his signature deep green. You bundled the skirts up and jumped up and down excitedly as Taylor spoke, enthralled by her words and the surprises along the way and you practically died when she began to sing Love Story.

Loki's nerves picked up when he heard the song begin and he watched you silently as you sang, swaying to the beat as Taylor sang for everyone. He fumbled in his pocket and waited.

I got tired of waiting Wonderin' if you were ever comin' around My faith in you was fading When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said

Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone I keep waiting for you, but you never come Is this in my head? I don't know what to think

Loki cleared his throat, dropped to one knee while you weren't looking, favouring screaming the lyrics over paying attention to the God beside you as he pulled out his ring that he had made especially for you.

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring And said

You turned as if to start singing with Loki and your eyes fell to him as the beat dropped, tears in your eyes as your imagined proposal happened right now.

"Marry me, Y/n," Loki sang telepathically, knowing you'd love him following the lyrics, "you'll never have to be alone, I love you and that's all I really know. I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress, it's a love story, baby, just say yes."

You started sobbing and nodded quickly, jumping into his arms as you cried. "Yes!!" you yelled over the noise of Taylor's music, holding your fiance tight to you.

Loki nuzzled into the crook of your neck and breathed a sigh of relief before he pulled away to press a kiss to your lips.
