The umbrella, when it rains - Leo does. Like, whenever Piper tries to open the umbrella she hits leo/hits herself with it and she's always like "YOU DUMBASS IS THIS ONE OF YOUR CONTRAPTIONS" and Leo is just "no we bought this from that department store you're just a clutz jfc give it to me we're getting wet and not in a fun way"
The popcorn at the cinema - Leo at first, but when the movie starts getting intense, Piper steals it and eats most of it out of nervousness
The baby, when it cries - Leo would hold the baby. The baby likes his warmth and sure hands, the way he holds the baby just feels so safe. That soothes the baby. But usually Piper is also there, behind Leo with her arms wrapped around him, her chin resting on his shoulder as she sings the baby to sleep.
The ice cream cone, when they share - Piper because Leo gets really messy with ice cream and Piper hates it
The remote, when they sit down to watch a movie - I think Leo and Piper would watch the same stuff, regardless of what others assume. Like, they'd watch cartoons and Marvel movies and romcoms and they don't ever feel the need to hold the remote bc they pretty much agree on whatever the other picks out.
The basket, when they go shopping - Piper makes Leo hold the basket and follow her around while she picks stuff out
The door, on dates - Leo and he always makes a big deal about that and jokes about it "Hurry on up, beauty queen" and Piper plays along and struts past him, hair flip and all
The other’s hand, most often - Either. It's not really something that only one of them initiates. It's something super casual and normal for them like Leo could be chaperoning the younger kids during their training and Piper suddenly just sits down next to him and grabs his hand and they don't really have to say a word. Or Piper could be standing by the lake, talking to Reyna via Iris and Leo would just pass by and squeeze her hand in a "Is everything okay?" kind of way and Piper would just be like "It's all good, say hi to Reyna" and Leo would do so, before kissing Piper on the cheek and letting go of her hand, leaving her to conversation.
Their breath, upon seeing the other on their wedding day- Piper would. Because as beautiful Leo still is when he's all covered in grime and sweat, seeing him all cleaned up and in a tux and waiting for her there at the altar, just takes her breath away. Meanwhile, Leo wouldn't get all choked up. He's the type to accidentally blurt out "holy shit" and laugh nervously and Jason, his best man, would chuckle and lightly punch him and tell him to shut up
The camera, when they take pictures together - i think piper would. And most of them are ones where Leo is caught off guard. Like, Piper always takes selfies with Leo next to her, flipping through an engineering book or in close behind her in background all dirty and looking like death as he works on a project
