Yellow: Thanks, kiddo! I have to agree with you there. I lucked out with these great kids, I must admit.
Sunglo: You’ll meet the rest of us eventually, I have 2 older brothers and a younger sister. Actually, Coraleye was supposed to be here today but she cancelled last minute, I guess? What’s that about, Dad?
Yellow: Yeah... her uhh... Mentor had some last minute, what’s the word? Studying to go over with her.
Sunglo knew he meant spellcaster training and quickly accepted his father’s answer.
Tycho: [whispers] Don’t tell Erwin you have a sister. He’s on the lookout for love.
Sunglo: [laughs] Don’t worry about that. My sister falls in love way too easily but even she wouldn’t go for Erwin. Besides, she has a thing for her... mentor, at the moment, Erwin doesn’t stand a chance!

During summer break, Sunglo and Mira have been staying in the little studio apartment above the Darling Thrift Shop.
Although there isn’t anything terribly exciting to do here for the young couple, this gives them a little bit of independence and a small taste of what married life will be like when that time comes.
