Arle’s current look (featuring some eyes I bought from Dolpa). I’ve still not settled on a wig/eye combo I want to keep her with after all this time but at least she looks good in anything.

Time really got away from me! My trip to disneyland was super fun, and then i got swept up in moving to my new place and getting everything sorted.

I didn't get a lot of photos of arle at disneyland because i was mostly having fun with my friends, but there was some downtime and i was able to get some shots in the central plaza!

I was hoping to get some photos of her with snow white, but i didn't see her around the park the day i brought arle, and instead found her the next day in the other park 😅

I haven’t done anything with my vinyls in a while so I fixed that by finally opening the Kaleidoll outfits I got a while ago and making a dressup video with my MDDs

…unfortunately, despite all the trouble in getting these outfits (Kaleidoll apparently ‘forgot’ my order and so sent it a lot later than everyone else’s) I ended up receiving the wrong size. I only noticed this after I’d already set up everything for the video so decided to just go ahead and shoot it anyway. The outfits are still really cute, but it does bug me a bit. They are the Kumako sizes when I ordered the ones for MDD - it’s especially noticeable on Tilo’s, which is way baggier and with shorter cardigan sleeves, because Kumako are shorter/chubbier than MDD. Arle’s was also missing the random brooch (the bag for it was sealed and empty…). It was disappointing, and since I procrastinated so long to open them probably can’t get replacements. On the plus side, like I said they’re still cute.

No.13 - Mini Dollfie Dream Arle from the PuyoPuyo series! Technically, it’s her second version. I think my story here is the same as most people - her original 2016 release was extremely limited and her rarity made her extremely expensive second-hand, but she has the most adorable little face so everyone wanted her including me. Then she got rereleased as part of the Best Selection series, so I was finally able to get her at her retail cost. I received her in March 2020.

I think PuyoPuyo is fun but I’m a filthy casual mostly, I just think Arle is the cutest ever. She’s also very photogenic so there are..a lot of pics lol. Mine doesn’t really have a set look because I like changing her eyes and wig a lot, she actually has blue eyes atm but I haven’t taken good pics.

Hmmmmmmmmm i think i'm going to cut the wig.... it's really cute as-is, but it gets messy really easy, and i want something easy to manage for the trip. Plus, it will be more in-line with snow white (who's the entire inspiration for this look in the first place)............

I'm so hesitant to significanly alter wigs even if it isn't like a limited wig or anything. I could literally buy another of this down the road if i want the long haired version again, but here i am getting super nervous ^^"

I can finally say she's done!

I like both skirts, and she has two headbands to choose from, so she's gonna have options when we're at disneyland.

Oh also! I had this see-through backpack i wanted to use for the trip, but didn't want to be 100% see-through, so i glued some fabric to it and it turned out really well!
