MDG15 is a guideline that details the safety requirements for the design, manufacture, and use of mobile and transportable equipment for use in all New South Wales mines. MDG 15 aims to stop the previously unacceptably high rates of accidents involving people who use and maintain mobile equipment, fires on mobile equipment, and unplanned movements of mobile equipment.
