Redraw of Rapping Flame Princess I did in 2016.
This is a drawing that I’ve had in my inventory for a while but finally decided to finish.
Also wanted to highlight this underappreciated character during CN’s 30th birthday.

Adventure Time Burning Low 10th Anniversary
On this day, ten years ago, we were greeted with one of the most influential moments in the Adventure Time series. I wanted to talk about this episode’s impact on me and the series.
I remember when this show came out around a time when I wasn't pleased with my life, and this show was a means to escape it. It was my first time being obsessed with a series continuity, especially when this episode came out. I remember wanting to know what would happen next, waiting for months for the next Finn X Flame Princess-centric episode.
Unfortunately, that was when their relationship peaked. Later episodes resulted in a rushed breakup that left such a bitter feeling that I still refuse to rewatch those episodes to this day. However, I am happy that the show gave somewhat of a resolution in the later seasons with her rapping career.
But I've always thought of the what if. What if we had more episodes of Finn and FP doing love junk? What if we had episodes where PB started flirting with Finn literally as a means to manipulate him into not going out with FP to keep Ooo from being destroyed? What if they kissed again? What if we had a special where Finn had to travel with FP and Huntress Wizard in an awkward, drama-filled 8-episode special? What if we finally got to know what Tier 15 is!? The closest we ever had of this was the episode All the Little People, where the writers played around with the fans' headcanons.
Thinking about it now, this series has impacted me on the art I make and the kind of stories I want to tell. While this show didn't deliver on my headcanons, it did help me in knowing what inspires me and how I can share that through my art.
The hardest thing about this has been moving on, even since the series officially ended in 2018. Even after ten years, I still hang onto hope. But I have to accept that life goes on. The network has moved on to new TV series, and even the people who worked on the show moved on to new projects. Sometimes I wish this series has continued airing new episodes, which gives me that comforting feeling.
It's hard to accept that the 2010s Adventure Time era has ended. But I can hold onto the passion and have it inspire me in my art. I want to continue with my art as long as I live on this stupid planet.
Anyways, here's Finn and Flame Princess making out like horny teens.

The show was a bit hit or miss, but I do remember one cat spy that stole the show.
The Wuzzleburg girls hangin out. Daizy, Widget, and Huggy.
The drawing took longer than expected as background and lighting can take a while to get perfect.
