Thanks to everyone sending in these sweet comments, it’s super duper great to see how many people enjoy my comics and characters! I don’t get to respond a lot but I really, REALLY LOVE YOU GUYS!! (Also in case your ask isn’t there it most likely means it got eaten by Tumblr but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate the gesture! ♥)

Currently I am stuck with a summer flu. It’s nothing too serious but this always prevents me from drawing much because concentration is low and my brain feels odd. I had a fever yesterday, too. I hope tomorrow will be better. 

Also btw @mdrm2 no need to ask, the protection squad always is open for any new members! :D

Thanks, and yes, I’d love to do some origin story! Idk how long they would be (probably not as long as the current one) but it’s something I wanted to do even before I started with Somewhere Else. I hope I can get to that one day. :D

Hi! I love your comic, its style and the concept!!! It so great! It actually Inspired me to finally start my own Underfell comic. Thank you very much! I wanted to ask, do you have any suggestions on how to promote the work? I'm a complete beginner in this area and wanted to ask for an advice from someone with experience. I apologize if this comes out as something disrespectful 🙏

Oh no problem at all! And omg it’s not disrespectful at all to ask! Promise!

So getting attention/promoting on Tumblr is a bit of a game of luck honestly. It’s usually about who reblogs a thing and when and if their followers see it and/or reblog it, etc etc.

I’d definitely use the Underfell tag in your posts for the comic and make sure it’s in the first five tags. It used to be--pretty sure it still is but could be wrong--that only the first five tags would be what a post could be searched on. So if I put “underfell” as like the sixth or seventh or later tag in my tags, if you looked at the Underfell tag for all of tumblr, it wouldn’t show up.

But also don’t take a lack of engagement as meaning your stuff comic isn’t good!! It’s unfortunately really hard to get traction on tumblr, especially these days--Soulfell got popular because I a) already had a bunch of followers from an old Homestuck comic and b) a friend reblogged one of the pages and her followers reblogged it, etc etc and chain reaction. c) Undertale and Underfell were still at the peak of their hype

BUT it still took a long time for people to notice it, I was probably like 30-40 pages into it before people started paying attention.

So a lot of it is luck but also!! don’t give up!! If you’re stubborn and determined (lol) it’ll gain traction! It will just take time. I BELIEVE IN YOU

Oh, Mewtwo, there are different kinds of love. For family, friends, lovers and even enemies (rare though). So judging by how you interact with Amber and others around you, you have been experiencing Love all the time, just a different kind.

*I am aware that there are different types. I have grown accustomed to the love shared by friends and family, though I have never experienced the type one would feel towards a significant other, because I never thought anyone would love me in such as way. It would seem once again, I am proven wrong*
