First clan i will post about is Briarclan. Briarclan lives by the road and their territory is riddled with briar patches. Over the years their fur has grown thicker and their skin rougher. Briarclan has a reputation of bad leaders lately but recently the newest leader has seemed to be making a huge difference. They would be similar to shadowclan. Briarclan shares borders with meadowclan [would be on the left] and stormclan [which would be to the right]
[Im not the best at drawing trees and plants so please don't judge ._.] (Awsome map that looks so realistic)
Not too far from the briarclan camp, underneath the steep rise was the prison used during the war. It was surrounded by rocks and roofed with a bunch of fallen logs and large branched (branches placed there by briarclan cats with a lot of help.) The outer walls were reinforced with briars, branched, moss, rock, mud, etc. The entrance would be blocked by more branches to prevent the prisoners from escaping (didn't work everytime) Two warriors would be posted at the entrance to ensure no one escaped.
[Awsome drawing of the prison 👌]
Some known battle techniques performed by briarclan cats would be wrapping their paws and unsheathed claws in little briar strands, flexible branches. Yes it is uncomfortable for the feline and will leave behind little marks and scratched
[Different colored briar, thorns and brambles]
Usually, a wound inflicted by a briar wrapped paw would look similar to this, with many little nicks and cuts or thorns surrounding the larger wound. It makes removing the thorns after battles more painful and uncomfortable fod whoever is unfortunate to receive the wound.
[Totally not a halfass drawing of a wound]
Other techniques include attempting to drive enemy battle patrols into briar patches or bushes, similar to the technique that thunderclan uses. This usually causes the other patrol to either get stuck or give up. Briarclan cats tend to run fast at their opponent as if to run into them and then jump last minute, land on their other side, and claw at the still confused cat. The briarclan will then jump over the opposing feline again as they are turning to confront the briarclan cat. They will then claw their other side. However, to pull this off, you must be fast and lucky. Some cats my catch on to the move and already be prepared. The opposing feline can counter the attack easily. So something that briarclan cats pull off is running at the enemy as if to leap over them. As the enemy prepares to turn to face his/her other side, the briarclan cat will instead barrel into the other feline and easily overtake them. You, in this case, have to be lucky there as well.
[Epic example of what im talking about]
Of course there are many more battle moves briarclan are known for. But these are the most notable.
During a gathering the clans wear these crowns to represent their clan. (Inspired by cryptidclaws crown ideas and other people who have come up with the idea of the clans having crowns) briarclans crown is thorny rosebushes with a raven skull. The rose thorns represent briarclan while the raven represents the food they eat.
The briarclan diet consists of small mammals amd alot of birds like crows and whatever lands in front of them. They also eat bugs.
