Ok let me just rant about how Windows 10 update sucks for Mass Effect 3 cause last month I was about to accept the FACT that I won’t be playing ME3 forever cause of the problem shown in the pics! (cause let’s face it vanilla ME3 makes you cringe forever after years of mods & now you have to see this abomination so NO) My ME3 was heavily modded to a point ALOT won’t recognize the game anymore & I was going for my vanilla backups. Basically, the game still works fine with vanilla ME3 but then 1) shepards face got that blocky face texture 2) most of femshep hair texture went missing & 3) even shepards pov got black texture all over (like this). I did all the things I could think of…from repair through origin, delete & re-download, re-install from the ME3 disk & also AutoTOC but the texture still looks like shit. But today out of boredom at work I googled ‘mass effect 3 texture problem 2017′ & like the first 4 search actually got the solution for it!! Like you just go to Documents> Bioware> Mass Effect 3> BIOGame> Config, Rename ‘GamerSettings.ini’ to 'old_GamerSettings.ini' & then Run Mass Effect 3. IT WORKS!! The solution is freakin simple!! I dig for more info & it seems that everytime Windows 10 updates it somehow affect the ‘GamerSettings.ini’. Maybe there is more reason to how it happens but that is the only thing I find out.
