Prison!Sal might have been allowed to draw or paint because I've heard that in most prisons in the USA, drawing is allowed.

Because of the flood of prison!sal asks in the inbox, I've been doing some reading on prison conditions and life in solitary- there seem to be mixed reports of what you can have in your cell, particularly if you have a history with mental illness or violence. Since Sal has a history of both, he'd have to be on his best behavior to get those kinds of privileges, and if he did get access to any writing implements, they would probably be loose-leaf paper and crayons (yaknow, so he couldn't hurt anyone on the off-chance he got stabby again). Push comes to shove, he could have made a paintbrush with strands of his hair and made some 'paints' with the leftovers from his meals. He'd get in trouble for putting graffiti on the walls, but what are they gonna do, throw him in jail??? Oooh, scary~~ 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

How long do you think would Sal last getting freaky with his S/O before tapping out?

Realistically, the mind is willing but the body is (most likely) a kissless virgin- he'd nut pretty quick before he got some practice in. But, that doesn't mean his hands and mouth don't work!
