The part that still pains me the most in the entire series is in Reign when Mina goes back in time and she just saved Teague from Ferah's first attempt to assassinate him but she can't drop the knives from hanging midair so Teague comes over to try and comfort her and he looks her in the eye and tells her that he is safe and nobody wants to her him and she is safe and nobody wants to hurt her and he won't hurt her and she won't hurt him and it just pains me because poor innocent Teague DOESNT KNOW WHATS COMING HE HONESTLY JUST CARES ABOUT MINA'S WELLBEING AND COMFORT

Mina and Teague in Forever ~ Appreciation Post (spoilers)

So I just finished rereading Forever again and I Just can't get over how tragic Mina and Teague's relationship is. Like mina would honestly look Teague in the face halfway through he books and tell him that she loves him but because of the darkness in his heart he couldn't communicate that he reciprocated those feelings too and it's just like the whole series is like that and I just so glad in the end they found a way to be happy together because all of this just wasn't fair for either of them and I'm turning into a blubbering mess. I just really appreciate their relationship and I'm so glad that they were able to overcome the evil that poisoned Teague, because once his soul was purged and he was free to be himself it really showed how perfect they were for each other. And he was honestly searching for her for over a hundred years and finally after all that time and the trauma they endured, they could be together 😍😍😍😍

For all Teague's talk throughout the series about making Mina bow down to him and beg for her life, he's the one who ended up getting down on one knee and proposing to her can I get an amen
