It’s tough being the queen bee, it really is! It takes effort to stay on top with information, to follow all the trends, it’s a hard battle. And it’s especially hard when there’s so many people that could stab her in the back, people who’d actually stab her as well.
But there is one thing that never fails to cheer her up. Boys. The prettier the better, and the one in front of her seemed just like the perfect score, as far as she was concerned. Yes, it’s indeed just the type she likes from the looks of it.
And so she finds herself walking closer with the standard charming smile, a small sway to her hips and eyes on the prize. It’s a familiar game.
“Sorry, is this seat taken?” That’s a normal enough question during the lunch period, and a good way to assure closeness if he agreed. A fool-proof plan.
It took him a moment to realise that the girl infront of him was talking to him. What a strange discision really. Strange and unwelcome. Kind of annoying? But he couldn’t just say no. Something in his subconscious was saying: that will out you as a weirdo! And he knew she was a popular girl. Messing with her would be destroying everything he worked for.
And so he followed the only feeling he knew.
“Ah.. no.. it’s not.. do you need it?” He moved in his own seat a little, freeing space so she could reach it better despite there being plenty of room. If hair wasn't covering his forehead, it would be saying “oblivious”.
