Hey Opal, where did your passion for toxicology begin? Or is it always something you've been particularly interested in?
"I didn't know the word for it yet, but it was a passion sparked pretty young in me. Say.. 5 sweeps maybe? I knew I was dangerous, I knew that being with my lusus and then gettin' up close and personal with anyone else followed in death. I didn't connect it to the scales shed from her wings for another sweep. Like, there was a reason I had grown up so.. isolated. I don't even think my lusus had planned for what growing up with it would mean and how it would um. Change me? I think she expected me to die. I'm something of a happy accident."

Unsure when I’ll have the time to finish this, especially after the event has ended, but I had mostly sketched out what I had wanted to see Opal in for the ball after finishing up Viserys’ sketch
i wanted her to look like a fae knight of sorts, with lots of curved and a leaf-like design to her armor. She may not be finished, but I’m still really proud of how much I HAD gotten done so far! I’m honestly really proud of myself with the full body art I’ve been doing this year. It feels a lot less scary to tackle now, I think

It's not a competition. The busier and more fun, the more likely I am to approach them and see what's up anyway. Kind of how I met one of my girlfriends. Can't help it, you know?"
