I have been asked a lot about my tattoos lately.. the question that everyone asks me is "Do they have any meaning?" Yes they all have profound meaning... I wanted to share story about one of my favorite tattoos.. I have a Shakespeare quote from Hamlet on my neck, "To Thine Own Self Be True." I once met an old woman in NY who had recently lost her husband. She was having dinner next to me in a restaurant in NY.. I felt inclined to buy her meal and she told me her story.. Her story was one of a woman who stayed in an abusive relationship for years.. She left that relationship at 42 and met and fell in love with the man who she had recently lost... now at the age of 83 I asked her for some advice... she told me that she wished she had been, "To Thine Own Self Be True," earlier in life.. it stuck with me and now lives on me..#me #tattoo #tattoolife #meaning #meanfultattoos #life #love #hope #designer #tothineownselfbetrue #beard #ink #inkedup #inkedupguys
