Hoping to start a tournament of fictional mean girls. Most recently inspired by @eldest-sibling-tournament and @bad-mom-awards

competition is a tribute to the archtypical feminine high school psychological war criminal, but related tropes like mean goth girls or disaster girls or evil adult women will absolutely be considered

"mean girl" can be gender neutral if the vibes are there

Mean girl media deals with themes that are not fun or sexy with varying degrees of respect. Please be more sensitive than your #girl would be.

Mean Girl Preliminary Schedule!

Hello enthusiasts! Submissions have stopped rolling in so here's what we're working with so far.

-53 total submissions

-40 unique contenders

-frontrunners currently are Cordelia Chase from BtVS and Azula from ATLA with 5 submissions each.

-the most out of the box submission was Spock from Star Trek (submitted without comment). Spock WILL be appearing on the bracket next week.

this is a pretty good amount to start so the only preliminaries we need, barring a second wave of entries, are to narrow media with multiple submissions down to one representative. Qualifying polls for Glee, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Miraculous Ladybug will go up tomorrow, March 25th at 4pm EST and be open 24 hours.

Submissions will remain open through Sunday, March 26th at 4PM EST , so plans are subject to change but the tournament will tentatively kick off on Tuesday, March 28th! Excited to see you there!
