the manga felt a bit rushed. pgsm had more time, thus did a better job developing the characters and the plot. i wish there had been a pgsm season for each stage. it would have been awesome.
I believe that PGSM is what Naoko really wanted for the manga and she finally had a chance to put her say in it w/o her editors telling her otherwise.
