yes, dabi does read the newspapers. he’d read through the current events, what concerts were playing, did the crossword puzzle out of boredom, read on hero work: though he mostly kept up with all might, as that was the only hero of interest to him. then, after stain’s arrest, dabi would always go through the newspaper to read anything he could about stain. his speech, his history, his sightings, reportings, those sort of things. ( && yes, dabi reads the cartoons. political satire are his favorite ).
