Gotta hate the fact that public colleges cannot do advertising cuz they are government institutions. Cuz that basically means that the programs I hear about the most are those from private colleges and guess what, that's a fucking ton of money.

#technically speaking #3 millions is not a fucking ton of money #but going to a public college in a country that insist on free education for everyone #having an academic scholarship on top of that #means that #for example #this semester I'm taking 5 courses for a total of 16 credits #that all came to 131 thousand colones #for starters everyone pays up to a top of 12 credits I think it is(? even if you are taking 20 or any amount bigger than 12 #second due to the academic scholarship (which is amazing cuz you basically acquire it automatically as soon as your average reaches 9)#I ended up paying the amazing amount of ...#3 thousand colones #aka #less than 7 dollars #so yeah #going from that to #something around 6 thousand dollars would hit a bit...#please remind me in two years of the fact that I'm getting into a terrible industry just so I can save #to later do something I actually care for #anyway #ily state funded quality education
