Good afternoon Bridgy. Most humbly do I request the next part of either Transfer Student, Blind or Android Weiss, whichever you wish to write most. Please, have a good day.

“You’re sure I’m ready?” Weiss asked as she stepped into the training arena. “I-I still havent tried to use my semblance and still dont have complete control over holding my rapier-” 

“You will do fine,” Penny said as she placed a hand on Weiss’s shoulder. “This is the last part of your training. All you need to do is hit your targets without hitting any bystanders. Once you can do that, then you will be able to work with your team again.” 

Weiss took a soft breath and looked at Penny again. “I’m not sure-” 

“All you have to do is let your body work on its own and guide it like you would a video game.” Penny gave Weiss a smile and pulled her hand away. “I believe in you.” 

Weiss closed her eyes for a moment before stepping forward into the training arena. The gears in her body clicked as her fingers tapped against the hilt of her rapier and her eyes started to scan for her targets as the arena began to change around her. Walls made of hard-light dust appeared around her to create a city-like maze, cutting off sight to a few targets that started to form. Once the walls around her finished growing, she started to run along the path she was given.

She could hear movement as she continued through the maze of walls, her eyes set to find her targets. Finally, a hard-light grimm came into view and her eyes started to lock onto it. A smile crossed her lips and she slammed the tip of her rapier through it, the grimm image shattering as she pushed through it. 

Soon, Weiss was practically flying through the maze of walls as the rockets on her feet pushed her through the air and towards her next target. She pushed her rapier through grimm construct after grimm construct as she maneuvered around the walls. As the last of the targets came into view, she tried to slow to a stop, unable to do so before her rapier ran through a civilian construct. Her body stopped moving as she watched the construct disappear, followed by the walls that surrounded her. 

Penny landed next to her and rubbed Weiss’s shoulder. “It was a good attempt. We can reset and try again-” 

“I’m not ready,” Weiss said quietly. “I know I need to get out there to my friends, but that could’ve been one of them. If I’m not careful, I could hurt them.” 

“I know, which is why we can keep going until you are ready.” 

“And what if I’m never ready?” Weiss asked. 

“You will be. Though, I do not understand why you are so nervous now. You were wanting to get back to them the last few days, why be nervous now?”

“I-I guess… I guess I realize just how little control I have right now.” Weiss sheathed her rapier and sat down on the ground. “I want to get back to them, to help them… to make up for my mistake at the mine. But if I go now, how do I know I wont end up hurting them?” 

Penny sat down next to Weiss. “Because they trust you and you trust them. And when you trust people with your life, you make sure that they do not get hurt. After all, that is why they are all still alive.” 

“I know but…” Weiss looked over at Penny. “What if they dont see me as me anymore? I might as well be considered dead-” 

“But you are still you.” Penny gently poked at Weiss’s arm. “It doesnt matter if you’re nuts and bolts or squishy guts, you are still Weiss, still the friend that they know. And they’ll be excited to see you. I know I was glad to see you still alive. And I… I like that we now have something a bit more in common.” 

Weiss smiled and got up. “Then I should try again. Show them I’m still me.” 

Penny nodded and stood up with her. “I know you have it this time.” 

Weiss flew towards the start and stood ready. “I’m ready.” 

Penny flew back to Pietro. “Starting in three, two, one…” 

Weiss took an unneeded breath out of habit to steady herself as she watched the walls reset. She took a step forward, rushing through the maze just like before. Her eyes stayed focused on the grimm targets as she made her way forward. And as the civilian target came into view, she stopped just before her rapier hit it. She smiled as the walls started to come down around her and Penny came back to join her. 

“Looks like you are ready,” Penny said as she pulled Weiss into a hug. “Now we can go on missions together.” 

Weiss nodded and relaxed her body. “Thank you for believing in me.” 

“I always believe in my friends. Especially you.”

Just a what if idea for my Mechanical Pines AU ^^

Well, what if it took longer for Fidds and the towns people to find the Pines? 

I was thinking that what if the Pines weren’t found until 5 or 8 years later but are feral, hostile, co-dependent on each other and very dangerous of course. They don’t recognize Fidds but Fidds recognizes them...

He doesn’t want to trap them or force them into his house so he just makes it so to them that he’s not a threat. It takes a lot of time but the Pines aren’t that much hostile anymore and come into his home so he can help them.

Also, Bill isn’t gonna be coming back at all. He’s dead ^^

And in all honesty, I just want to see Fidds chasing Mech-Ford shouting ,”GET IN TUB!!!” Or something like that XD

Penny tries to show Weiss some thjngs about her new body that might interest her , enjoying having someone who understands her circumstances

She feels a closeness with Android Weiss but can not describe it accurately.

Weiss flipped through the pages of the instruction manual she was given for her body, already bored of reading from it. It wasnt that she didnt want to learn from it, though it was dry enough with all the technical jargon that she lost interest quickly while she absentmindedly moved the pages, her mind still taking in all the information on the pages. Though, her mind still wandered as she thought about all the new sensations that came with her body. The clicking as her joints moved, the soft hum that came from her chest after waking up, the warmth that radiated from her, the way Penny seemed to enjoy checking on her, making sure that everything was still in order and nothing was out of place… 

A small blush crossed her cheeks as they heated up, her fingers moving the pages of the instruction manual a bit faster as she tried to take her mind off Penny. She didnt have time to think of Penny like that, she needed to get back into training condition so she could go back on missions with her friends. And the more she thought about Penny, the less reading she actually paid attention to.

“I have everything we will need,” Penny said as she walked into Weiss’ room, setting down a few books, tools, and board games. “We will have a lot of fun while you get used to your body.” 

Weiss sat her book down and sighed. “When do I get to train again?” 

“Once you are used to your body.” 

“And when will that be?” Weiss stood up and picked up her rapier, gently running a finger across the metal blade to feel the cool metal on her synthetic skin. “I’m tired of waiting and learning how this body works, I need to get out there and fight, train, keep my friends safe.” 

“And the only way you’ll be ready is by learning how your new body operates,” Pietro said from behind his desk between coughs. “A-an android body is much different from your human one.” 

“But I’m ready-” Weiss winced and stopped speaking as she heard the metal of her hilt bend from her own hand as it clamped down tightly. She slowly sat it down and looked away out of embarrassment. “Or… will be ready…” 

Penny shook her head and sat down on Weiss’s bed. “I know you want to get out there with your team, but you need to learn how to operate your body first. You have to be more delicate with everything you do, to learn how much strength you really have. Start by squeezing my hand.” 

Weiss sat down next to Penny and looked at her outstretched hand, slowly reaching for it. Her fingers gripped around Penny’s, gently squeezing them as she tested her strength, squeezing tighter and tighter. She kept a careful glance towards Penny, making sure she wasnt hurting her. 

“Loosen up your grip a bit and this will be the strength you can use on people without breaking their fingers or crushing them.” 

Weiss loosened up a bit to get a feel for how little strength she had to use, gripping a bit more tightly to feel the strength needed to hold her weapon without breaking it. Her cheeks brightened a bit as she absentmindedly felt over Penny’s hand, fingers running over joints. Slowly, she pulled her hand away from Penny’s and looked away to hide her blush. “I-I think I understand now.” 

Penny gently put a hand on Weiss’s thigh, smiling a bit. “It will take some time to get used to, but I will be here every step of the way with you. I want to make sure that you are happy and that you can continue to do everything you need while like this.” 

“I appreciate that, Penny,” Weiss said, her tone becoming softer as she leaned into her. “I’ll try to listen to you more about all the upkeep.” 

Penny nodded and pulled her hand from Weiss’s thigh and pulled out her scroll. She flipped through a few applications before finally stopping, staring at the app as she was trying to compare what it was telling her to her own vitals. “Father, I think I need maintenance.” 

Pietro looked up from his tablet. “Is something wrong?” 

“My sensors are not reading correctly and giving numbers that are… off.” 

“Off?” 

“I will be in my room to see if I can find out what is going on.” 

“R-right, of course.” 

Weiss watched Penny leave the room, her fingers and arm shaking as she reached out towards Penny, stopping before grabbing onto her and letting out a sigh. “I was hoping she could stay.” 

Pietro went back to his tablet to pull up Penny’s vitals, smiling a bit when he saw what was going on. “Oh, I’m sure she’ll be back soon once she sees she’s fine.” 

Weiss nodded and started to look over the tools and boardgames, mostly small things to help with fine motor skills. Perfection, Operation, Monopoly, small screwdrivers to pull open and pull out batteries to small controllers and remotes… all things that Penny enjoyed to work with. A small smile crossed her lips for a moment as she carefully took each game out and tried to set it up, wanting to make sure everything would be perfect for when Penny came back.

Someone ends up getting a mechanical body like Penny, and Penny teaches them how to use it. Thats when the new android mentions hot singles in their area, and penny has to drag them back for an anti virus check

Weiss moved her fingers, listening to the clicking sound her joints made as she tried to get used to how her new body felt. She was lucky that Pietro was able to save what was left of her after the dust explosion and transfer her aura and soul into this new body to keep her going. Though, it all felt strange no matter how much she moved around or tried to get used to how much quicker her mind was able to think. 

“How does everything feel, Weiss?” Penny asked as she looked the new android over. “I know it is not the same as your original body, but after the dust explosion and the mine collapsed-” 

“Its… its fine, Penny,” Weiss said as she sat down. “You were able to save me. If this body is what I need in order to live, then I’ll accept it.” 

“Then you will need to learn how to operate your new body.” 

Weiss rolled her eyes as a hud came up in front of her eyes. “I’ve used a computer before, I think I’ll be fine.” 

“But this body will be different from a computer.” Penny started to pace as she spoke, taking her eyes off Weiss. “You’ll need to make sure you run through regular maintenance after missions, making sure you keep your antivirus running, check all of your protocols to make sure you are still you.” 

“I know how to use a computer, Penny.” Weiss took an unneeded breath and moved her fingers, watching screens move and change in front of her eyes. “I’ll be able to keep myself safe.” 

“But all of this is different. One wrong turn while connected to the network could change you forever.” 

Weiss let out a soft sigh as she stood up. “And I told you I’ll be fine. But first, I need to figure out how to get rid of this notification about the single women in our area. I need to get back to working on missions with my team, not worry about dating.” 

Penny paused and took a look at Weiss, watching as the bright, blue eyes flickered with red and green. She pinched the bridge of her nose as she spoke, tired. “Let us get you back to my father and he can run diagnostics on you.” 

Weiss looked at Penny curiously for a moment as she watched the screens in front of her glitch out for a brief moment. An electric tingle ran through her body for a moment as she felt herself fade before coming back. “R-right, we’ll get me a check up and then you can help me figure out the rest of my body.” 

Penny extended a hand to Weiss. “Shall we go?” 

Weiss nodded and took Penny’s hand to walk with her to Pietro’s lab, her fingers clicking nervously as she squeezed. Walking felt almost new to her as she made her way through the halls of Atlas, her vision flickering with static the further she went. She didnt realize when she had stopped or even that her legs had quit moving until her arm was pulled by Penny.

“Is everything okay?” 

“I… I think so.” Weiss started walking again, feeling her legs nearly lock up with each step. All of the sounds and sights, all the new sensations were overwhelming and seemed to stop her body from moving well. Every movement required focus that seemed to get pulled elsewhere. 

Penny stopped and squeezed Weiss’s hands, relaxing as she heard the joints click. “Do not think about what you need to move, let your mind take control of your body on your own. You do not need to focus, you need to allocate the process. All you have to worry about is making sure your body is able to process everything you want to do.” 

Weiss slowly nodded and let her mind relax, letting her mind take control of all of her processes. She didnt need to think about moving her legs or arms, didnt need to think about the direction she was going. All she needed was to let her mind take control just like her human body, to automate everything to allow her to think “go”. She took a deep breath, feeling the air travel into her through a vent in her mouth, cooling her body as her mind took control to automate every process she needed. Her soul, her very essence of herself, was all that had to control. Her mind, her thoughts, was all she needed to bridge the gap between desire and control. 

“Your body is not just a computer, it is you.” Penny slowly moved Weiss to sit down, smiling as she watched her friend. “You do not need to worry about controlling it like one, you only need to think about it as your human body. Let your soul control you, your aura power you. All you have to do is give it direction.” 

“I…I think I understand.” Weiss opened her eyes again, the blue around her irises starting to flicker for a brief moment until they turned into an icy blue that seemed as sharp as ice. She slowly stood up and took a step, no longer thinking about walking but letting her soul take control, only giving a direction she wanted to go. “It feels easier.” 

“It will get much easier over time. The first time coming online after a transfer like that is always the worst.” 

“Aura transfer?” Weiss asked as she looked over Penny, seeing the bright smile she always had. “But you were… an artificial human, right?” 

Penny just smiled and went down another hallway. “Father’s lab is not too far. Just a couple more hallways to go.” 

Weiss nodded and followed after Penny, her mind still lingering on the words she had used. First time online after an aura transfer. She silently sighed as she followed Penny down the hall, still unsure of what she meant. Though, for now, that would be a question for after the popups in her field of view were taken care of.
