As much as the Healer enjoyed tossing out food for the water pokemon that lives within the river in the Forest, there was almost never a sound that escaped her ears. Especially one that didn’t sound as natural as one would from in the Forest. She pulled her fishing line back and set her rod aside to go investigate, sending Chuchu ahead from the trees first to be her guidance as always.

...And how often was it that there was a masked being within? Her head tilted to the side even as Chuchu came down onto her shoulders to share thoughts. ..Yeah. It was just as she figured. Two unknown... beings near that person. It almost triggered a particular memory from long ago. Though, was it possible?

Considering how everything has been... yeah. The possibility was low, but it was definitely possible. Though, what could a masked person be doing here? Was there an allergy going on? If so then why..? “As much as being in the Forest is nice, I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re sickly of something.” She spoke aloud, though she hadn’t moved from her spot from behind a tree.

Everywhere she looked, there was nothing but darkness. It was only to be expected from being trapped in said realm of darkness. That’s all there was and all there ever would be. Aside from nothingness, the occasional Heartless would appear. They ranged from small to larger than life, but these were creatures that could easily be dealt with.

For now, the keyblade master simply wanders through the dark, on a winding path that leads...well, probably to nowhere. She could never figure out where she was or where she was going in this realm. It was a difficult maze but even so, she sought an exit.

Just when she thought there’d be no one else here, another human being in this realm, her eyes fall upon a person. Aqua had to stare, make sure that she wasn’t hallucinating or that perhaps a Heartless had managed to imitate man now. Once she determines that this other person might be in the same situation as her, she approaches, cautiously.

─「凛」─  “ you know it’s dangerous to be around me, right ? ” the words came rather unexpectedly from the young MAGUS said to the other when they were simply hanging out. by hanging out, it was basically him tinkering with his own creation while she minded herself with a thick spellbook on her lap. they usually enjoyed each other’s company this way, other than the banters they exchanged from time to time, of course. as to how they got closer, sometimes the HEIRESS had forgotten already. they didn’t get along well at first, that’s for sure --- but now ? well ... let’s say things had changed quite a bit since then.

                “ the holy grail war and all ... if other masters think you’re my ally, they might target you too. ” this had been a secret concern of hers ever since they had grown closer. her worry that he was going to be dragged into this mess called a HOLY GRAIL WAR when he wasn’t even a participant at all.

                “ wouldn’t it be better if you stay away from me until the war is over ? i mean ... not to say that i think you’re not capable of taking care of yourself or anything. just ... you know --- why take the risk ? ”

─「凛」─  the ACT OF AFFECTION did catch her by surprise, especially when she knew they other wasn’t someone who was usually forward with his physical affection. nonetheless, the warmth from his arms was more than enough to set her mind at ease. it had been a while since they last saw each other, after all. she wanted to contact him but given their BUSY SCHEDULE, even small texts or calls became rather difficult.

just before she could inquire what was the special occasion for her to have the pleasure of welcoming him back, his following words cleared that doubt and put a smile upon her lips. ah ... it really was her BIRTHDAY, wasn’t it ? a hand came to place over his arms that wrapped around her form, leaning her weight into his hold and as rare as it was, she placed a TENDER KISS to his jaw in a content hum. it was a PLEASANT SURPRISE. one that, though unexpected, she would accept willingly.
