Brawl wasn’t good at this kind of thing. He left most of the interactions with humans (interactions with most anyone really) to the likes of Swindle and Onslaught. Hell, even Vortex had done surprisingly well so far-- the copter hadn’t killed a single person yet.
But Brawl wasn’t one for socializing. Something about a tendency to always come off as angry. Others were put off by his demeanor and tended to ignore him in favor of his teammates, which was fine by him, but it didn’t do him any favors when he was on his own. Like now.
He stared down at the human suspiciously. They hadn’t had any particularly bad experiences with humans yet, but he’d heard stories of... unpleasant organics from Blast Off. At least this one wasn’t screaming at the sight of him.
“Hm. What?” Eloquent as always.

What kind of failed intimidation tactic is this? Playfully, Bee gently knocked Leah over and placed a digit on her stomach.
“ - Ha! Pinned ya again! - - ”
after the battle of chicago, she and david got out of there quickly. david had grabbed her and they left for a place where she could heal from the damage done to her ears from the explosion. since the discovery of cemetery wind, she and david created a safe haven for autobots to hide out at.
and humans.
seeing leah was like a punch to the gut. it reminded her of old times, before chicago happened. hanging around on base with the autobots and casually flirting with leah while ignoring the way her heart jumped to her throat whenever leah smiled at her.
tears pricked at her eyes and she swallowed the lump in her throat.
how things had changed.
“leah,” she croaked out.

“You have small enough hands. Make yourself useful for a second and help me wash this seam out.”

“hn,” mikaela murmured, turning her head to kiss leah’s cheek. “i could vouch for him, y’know. might soften the betrayal.” @mechanicsgoddess
give me that marriage au babe
send me an AU and i’ll tell you 5 of my headcanons for it
mikaela and leah met when they were still teenagers. mikaela had just recently learned about the autobots. she knew about the decepticons. she knew that leah was tied to the decepticons. both girls decided to keep their relationship a secret for the first six months or so.
eventually, one of the robot parents do find out (probably starscream.... i would bet money on it that starscream is the one to put the dots together). mikaela worries that this will be the end of them. it is not, though. they end up dating for years. and when they’re in their mid-twenties, leah proposes to mikaela.
they have a gorgeous wedding. they both look like actual goddesses in their dresses. autobots and decepticons ended up both coming. there was a rule that outside of this, they could fight all they want. but today they have to be civil. there’s only a few scuffles, but they get broken up pretty quickly.
they are domestic as hell. they get a dog. they get a home. cuddling before going to sleep in their own room and having cooking fails and cracking up over it.
in their late 20s/early 30s, mikaela finds out she is expecting. they end up having twins-- and these twins have such a huge and supportive family.

“oh, you know. dad’s being stubborn, as per usual.” hard to keep your dad good while he’s on probation when he doesn’t want to follow the rules of probation. “missed you.”
