What does orisa look like in your mechawatch au

Gosh I haven’t even had time to draw normal Orisa yet! Oh well, she is adorable non the less.

What about efi?

She is still adorable.

So here’s the story Beacuse I forgot to mention it in the last post. it’s basically that Orisa was the head of numbani security until doomfist attacked the airport. After that fiasco nobody really validated her anymore and Orisa fell into depression.

That’s when Efi showed up. She was a a contruction bot made to create and upgrade other omnics and was working under Orisa before everything went south. Efi helped Orisa out of her depression and they decided that if the bots can do it they might as well do it themselfs. So now Orisa protects Numbani  with the help of Efi who constructs gear and help her stay on track!

Heya! Just out of curiosity and my love for your Mechawatch AU, how would Tracer and Emily look? And is Mei's little robot buddy human too now or no?

First of Emily is a civillian bot. That means that she doesn’t have any top notch tech or poweful abileties (other than being amazingly cute).

First I had and Idea that maybe Mei adopted a kid. But then I realized that I wouldn’t really count her little bot friend as an real omnic (and also having a kid help you fight battles seems like a really bad idea) Instead she owns an adorable husky! It hangs out in her backpack a lot of the time.

(Oh and also, I made Mei’s design to be pretty non thretening and with no too many details beacuse she wasn’t originally made for battle but for research.)

I'm curious about your mechawatch. If everyone is a robot then how does that affect Reaper? In game he's human but then he becomes mostly tiny robots that keep him from dying. What would he be in your universe, would he be like Genji and be turned somewhat human or would he be a robot?

Reaper is a mix of omnic and virus. Instead of going into “smoke mode” he can transform into a glitch moving from computer system to computer system.

What does Winston and Athena look like in mechawatch?

Winston is more or less like canon, he was buildt on the moon and was part of a project there.

Athena is one of the mostbrilliant minds alive at the time. She used to fight for the Overwatch when the organisition was still up and running. But towards the end of the crisis she got badly injured and had to retire as replacement body parts was scarce. She diecded to not get prostetics once the war was over.

Athena is the one who keeps the Mechawatch togheter and organised. She lives togheter with Winston who helps take care of her. It was Winston and athena who funded the organisation.
