Despite there being mistakes in this, I had entirely too much fun drawing Patch kicking butt. I almost always draw him being kind, patient, and gentle, but even Patch has his limits, and you do not want to be on the receiving end of his wrath when he’s decided you’re no longer worthy of mercy. Just because he may not be quite as physically strong as most troopers doesn’t mean he’s incapable in a blaster fight; he’s long since learned how to compensate for being blind in one eye.

Patch: I have a problem.

Fuse: Kill it.

Patch: Can you chill for like, two seconds?

Not much can wear Patch out enough for him to feel like this, but his Commander getting up to all kinds of nonsense can definitely do it.

I so badly missed drawing Patch this year. I haven’t been able to really do ANYTHING with him for months because I’ve been grieving the friendship breakup that happened earlier this year, and Patch’s story was one of the most heavily affected from that, so doing anything with Patch just made me sad for a while. I missed drawing my boy though.

Avi Onzatha, the child therapist who Patch falls madly in love with after he falls down a flight of stairs at work after the war. Avi is a huge sweetheart who is originally from Alderaan, but works in a mental health center on Coruscant. She specializes in helping children. Patch happens to work in the same building (different specialization, but same building), so he and Avi cross paths a handful of times before Patch loses his balance on a flight of stairs and ends up in the medcenter for a few days. Avi visits him, and that’s when the sparks fly.
