Hannah's Surgery Part 2
*Apologies for the late post*
Once Hannah was fully dressed in hospital attire, she was moved to a hospital bed in the preoperative suite. Shortly thereafter, a nurse with beautiful long hair wearing pink scrubs came in. She quickly snapped on a pair of surgical gloves and inserted an IV into Hannah's arm to begin the anesthesia process. Hannah winced in pain from the needle but it was quite brief. After this, the nurse reviewed the details of Hannah's surgery with her and told her that the procedure would begin in an hour. At this point, all Hannah could do was wait anxiously. Although she knew that she needed to have the procedure but felt more and more nervous as time went on.
Finally, an hour was up and a team of medical personnel wearing surgical clothing came in and wheeled Hannah into the operating room. Hannah became even more nervous when she felt the cold air of the operating room and saw the bright white lights but tried to be brave. Hannah was moved from her bed to the cold operating table. Then she was covered in surgical drapes and her arms were strapped to the table.
As she looked up from the table, Hannah saw the anesthesia nurse bring the anesthesia mask closer and closer to her face. Hannah was becoming scared but didn't resist. In fact, she couldn't even if she wanted to. Once it was on, the nurse instructed her to take several deep breaths. After several moments, Hannah took her last breath and was fully under the anesthesia. Now, her surgery had begun.
