PSA for all the people taking medication:
Go check if there's any knowledge available about your meds acting differently when you experience uncommon heat like this or if your meds alter the way your body handles heat.
I've been taking an Ssri for years now, and not a single time did my psychiatrist tell me that SSRIs can change the way your body regulates temperature, making heat even more unbearable. Not even once did he tell me that ADHD meds based on methylphenidate impair sweat production.
I had to find out on my own while listening to a medicine podcast.
For all the German speaking people, there's the Heidelberger Hitzetabelle (Link contains PDF File in German; I don't have the spoons to search for a translation or an equivalent in other languages right now, sorry) which lists medication that alter how your body reacts to heat and also how the body can process the medication (pharmacokinetics). It also suggests dosing adjustments you might want to consider with your doctor.
It doesn't contain psychopharmacology only, it also lists meds for blood pressure, opioid plasters and other stuff.
Also, please check if your meds need to be cooled/kept at a certain temperature, and if so, also check if the cooling is enough.
