Blacksmith Master Roadmap: What's Coming Next?
Blacksmith Master roadmap is heating up, bringing epic new features to the medieval management game on Linux, Steam Deck, Mac, and Windows PC. Thanks to Untitled Studio’s immersive nonstop creativity. Which you can find on both Steam and Humble Store with its 82% Very Positive reviews.
If you’ve been hammering away in Blacksmith Master, the fresh medieval management sim from Untitled Studios, you’re in for more. Hooded Horse just released the first part of the Blacksmith Master roadmap, and let’s just say… things are about to get epic. Whether you’re crafting pristine swords or accidentally setting the forge on fire (again), there’s never been a better time to be the boss of your own medieval workshop.
The game hit early access last month on Steam (and yes, it’s Linux and Steam Deck friendly out of the box – no Proton workarounds needed). And already we’ve had four updates. Now? The devs are setting their sights higher in the Blacksmith Master roadmap. Right from printing your own coins due to building weapons that could flatten a castle.
What’s Already Landed
Last week’s Update #5 was the first taste of what’s coming. The community asked, and Untitled Studios listened:
Two brand-new furnaces that let 2–4 smiths work together like a well-oiled (and slightly sweaty) machine.
No more bottlenecks – shared ore and ingot storage keeps production flowing
Smaller ingot racks for better space management in your busy workshop
FPS boosts for those of us pushing our rigs to the limit with overdecorated smithies
A tweaked mastery tree that slows down the late-game grind (finally)
Fixes galore: assistant AI, save file chaos, Mac scrolling issues… it's all tighter now
That was just the Blacksmith Master warm-up for this roadmap.
Coming Soon: Coin Minting & Staff Upgrades
Next up, we’re getting a brand-new production chain: coin minting. Take your copper, silver, or gold ingots and turn them into glorious royal currency. Perfect for adding prestige—or just flexing your wealth.
But wait, there’s more. Staff management is getting a serious overhaul. You’ll soon have more control over your crew — tweaking their loadouts, optimizing their roles, and basically turning them into the medieval dream team. Think of it as RPG-style squad micromanagement, but with more soot and fewer goblins.
The Blacksmith Master roadmap progresses.
Here’s where things go full metal. The Siege Workshop is coming. And with it? Massive, multi-stage war machines. Not just fancy furniture or elegant blades anymore — we’re talking about castle-cracking siege engines. Ballistas. Catapults. Things that go BOOM. You’ll need tons of materials, expert planning, and nerves of steel to build these monsters. But the kingdom needs you, blacksmith—and you don’t say no to the crown.

What’s Next?
This is just Part 1 of what’s ahead in the Blacksmith Master roadmap. More quality-of-life updates are coming soon, based on even more community feedback. The devs are clearly in it for the long 12 month haul, and they’re due to build something truly epic here.
So if you haven’t jumped in yet, now’s the time. Blacksmith Master medieval management is out in early access on Steam and Humble Store for $19.99 USD / £17.99 / €19.99. And yes, it runs smooth as butter on Linux, as well as Steam Deck, with Mac and Windows PC.
Sharpen your tools, prep the forge, and get ready to mint, manage, and maybe even blow up a few castles. The golden age of blacksmithing has only just begun.
